The icon? It's a vaguely meaningful, easily reproducable, geometric shape. Pepsi's logo doesn't say PEPSI, but it has been associated so closely with Pepsi for so long that we see it and say "Oh. Pepsi." So it doesn't Mean anything (though if you flip it over and extend the centerline, I think you'll be amused).
As for rotating it, the icon Could be animated into "And now it's a G! Then the 'raal Online' fades in, and there's the logo.", but that would require a vector graphics animator (one that stores the image as a series of geometric functions, eg "Circle with 3 lines" rather than "A bunch of pixels") such as Adobe Flash to animate it smoothly. (I suppose I could pixel animate each frame manually, but it'd be so much easier with a decent vector program...I just don't own one myself.)
Sorry to treat you like an idiot, but you didn't really specify which part you didn't understand, so I have to assume "All of it". Apologies if you've known Vector Graphics and Iconography all along.
