I will tell you what purpose it would serve, it would tell the members of this community that we are all equal when it comes to the rules....that globals are not exempt from following the same rules that the rest of the community have to follow

People, nobody is arguing against a ban because of Loriel's position. They're arguing against a ban because there is no reason to administer a ban.
