It's not retarded. The #gscript guild exists because the channel exists. It is for regulars of the channel, and to promote usage of the IRC channel.

Point being, that the channel, #gscript, actually has regulars. If #ggraphics or #glevels were to become popular, then there would be some reason behind making guilds for them.
