Yes, the gathering of resources should be altered a lot. It should
A) be of more importance to kingdoms
B) more clear
With B, I mean that if you go to, for example, Samurai, and there's this rice field, there'd be NPC workers. They'll say something like 'If you want to buy our rice, pay x platinum coins'. Then the state treasure will be a little lighter, and the state rice supply a bit heavier. Now, enemy kingdoms may destroy this, then you need to invest to re-build it again, but the workers'll know which kingdom did it. The state rice supply will be used to feed city guards etc. This way Warfare can be more advanced and running a kingdom will be a more imortant job. |
