Returning in Disappointment, but ..

Hellooo~, I'm lockeboy! I've gone by a lot of names, but I've always gone by lockeboy. These days my nick is usually Jesse. I recently returned to GK from a long leave.

When I originally wrote this out, it was a bit lengthy .. but I figure it was mostly garbage, so I'll get to the point.

GK is lacking, as I noticed. It needs new monsters, graphics, locations, quests, et cetera. I'm willing to help, with ideas and graphics (my two strongpoints).

I saw there was a thread about graphic submissions, requesting bodies and such. I will most certainly get to work on some, but in the mean time, if there's anything else needed, like a monster perhaps (I've always wished to make a monster for GK), then someone please do contact me.

That's all, then, really. One thing, though. If you post a message directed at me in this thread, I may miss it. It's probably best if you send me a forum PM, or something of that sort.

what we currently need is less NPCs using up server power
we're lagging to hell as it is
Would be awesome if they could somehow redesign our NPC friends to sleep until playerenters the room
actually, that might already even be the case
I wouldn't know cause I'm never in the room when that happens

I can't disagree with you there. GK has been lagging a lot lately.

Lockes back? No more using 'build lightning wall' to lame peacefuls! =(!

Hopefully your not ignored, and hopefully you do make an impact upon the community, as well as the game itself.

Also, hopefully you don't get a taste of corruption, and fall into the abyss so many staff / debug members have.

Wow, someone remembers that? Eheh, I still do it, but it seems they've fixed it so it doesn't hit peacefuls anymore .. ^^;

That's something I'm proud to say would probably never happen to me. I'm not really the sort to become corrupt. I've seen the consequences, and it's not worth it.

Anyway, it's nice to see someone remembers me! ^_^

Just started working on the sketch now. Hopefully will have it ready for scanning within the hour .. whole thing (the sketch, that is, not all the sprites) ought to be done in a few hours, provided I've no interruptions. Don't worry, I'll post as soon as it's done. =)

EDIT: Got some of it done, don't want to post it yet, though. I'd finish it, but I'm dead tired. I'll finish it in the morning and post when done. I'd forgotten how tough pixel art could be, so it might be a bit rough at first .. haven't done it in a while. Tha~t's all.

As for you not being corrupted, I sure hope not. There's alot of responsibilty that is given to somebody once they get a tag with /create rights, obviously MarkB is unable to handle it.

MarkB is CP Gov and he can't handle it, I think. Padren is Dustari king. Chris is working on Forest revival. I got -32 AC :o

He's always sold USD and ****, but he recently got /create rights and boom, DEX+5 Con+10 AC WC DAM+ Markmanships. MarkBs Marks are rigged.

I knew about his name change, but I wasn't completely aware of his corruption. That's really a shame, because he could be pretty level-headed when he wanted to be. I guess it can happen to even the best of us.

Anyway .. is he, then? I knew about Padren, but I heard he's inactive .. and it's nice that Chris hasn't given up on Forest.

Hey, my AC doesn't usually go any lower than -15 or so >_> then again, I am a mage, but .. >_<

Figured I'd put all these into one big post, easier on the eyes. Hence the reason Argo's post is above mine. Okee dokee, that's all for now, must get to work on my monster. Here's hoping it doesn't come out terribly. >_>
