They tried to fix a bug in alchemy and killed the speed of all rings.
Should be fixed until tomorrow.
So dont cry and wait for tomorrow V(^ ^)V.

It's not just rings...it's all speed + items. Though yeah...Stefan said it should be fixed by tomorrow.

It would seem to make sense that if the speed of all rings is gone, the chasers would be slowed down just as much as the people running away.

lets describe this all the way. it started out as an attempt to put a mask on speed items because stefan was informed of an item known as "Idaten Boots" with speed +20 that were an alchemy item. He tried to limit the amount of speed that could be given by any Alchemy item and in effect rings were effected as well. so he just attempted to remove all speed items. but not all have eben removed...Belts still retain their speed as well as shields. a few boots usch as samurai boots of haste retain their speed as well. It was supposed to be fixed yesterday but it wasnt so now it is on delayed status for repair. =D thank you

Idaten is not an alchemy item... it can NOT be obtained by any sort of alchemy. But... since rings have recipes to make them better (like making a RoF into a RoC)... they we're effected by whatever Stefan was trying to do...

As far as I know, these recipes originate from crossfire, and shouldn't work on GK. Then again, it'll probably take some time till GK is free from hidden traces and bugs from CF...

The speed of rings has been fixed for over a day now, but I believe the server needs to be rebooted , and it wasn't able to be done yesterday because there was around 110 players online. Possibly by the time I post this message it will have been done already ^_^.
