IDEA for a new game

IF anybody ever played Quake2's Jailbreak you'll know this idea

Each team has a base and a jail with a escape button
If one of a teams member get killed he is respawned into the oppsite side's jail and must stay there till his team presses the escape button. However if theres 3 or more people in jail they can get out thru a secert hatch somewhere in jail


I just remembed this kick arse mod for quake2 while playing this new cops and robbers game and thot jailbreak would be fun for graal2k1 =)

G2k1 should be a living, breathing world just like you see in games like Ultima Online. Why do you think they are so popular? Same goes for the Zelda games. Detailed historical backgrounds, epic quests, interactive NPCs, things that help to add real depth, not just things like counter strike rip offs in a 2D form

Hopefully Graal NewWorld will be better

Maybe if Graal2001 gets those things or shows that it will be on the way to getting those, I'll consider renewing in a few months. The way it is now, though, I just don't think it's worth the money.

Graal2001 isn't meant to be a game with a very depth
game concept. Games like Mario64, Zelda3, Banjo&Kazooie,
Conker 64 don't have a real story (other than rescue the
princess, beat the big boss or find some items ).
We are testing good game concepts.
Those concept could possible changed and included
in later game projects, like the 'capture the town' thing
in the kingdoms game or jails in every town where
the town owners / police can jail you but there is
a way to get free.
Graal2001 is more based on events. Having quests
and such things are good, we will add more. But
the bad thing is they only give you fun for 10 minutes
(or some more minutes if you make a complex quest),
after that it is getting boring. Even on Ultima Online
you don't do quests, you often fight against monsters
for items.

yeah, most MMORPGs are 10+ bucks a MONTH. Sure, you can argue that they are more fun than Graal, but look how many people they have working on their games. Graal only has about 3. Stefan does most of the work on this server, and it's all a matter of time to see how this game will improve.

yeah, thats what I dont understand: Graal is worth the money! its just like 15 dollars! thats 2 week's allowance for me! that isnt enough money to worry about!

Stefan graal is great, I'd pay 8 bucks a month if I had too =)
