Plans for rebuilding pirates.

So we've gotten mark to step down so a more active player can run the guild, we got cyrin to stop nagging about peoples names, and we even started voting on a new name for our kingdom.

Sure, we have yet to elect a new govener, but what comes after that?
Our rank system doesn't seem too bad, as people are getting more involved it seems. More captains have sprung up, and I recently joined a crew myself. RP seems to be comping back.

So what else does our guild need?

I was thinking development on the island. Though we have the best looking houses, our island otherwise seems quite bland.

Cyrin said I could get dev rights for the island if he gets gov. Lets brainstorm some more improvements I (or anyone else who gets dev rights and knows what they're doing) to the island.

One suggestion I've heard so far, was that we could have individual shipyards for each captain.
Amongst others, we could have some kingdom only rooms to use as public store houses.


Anyone have anything they'd like to see?

Cyrin to stop nagging about people's names? The problem goes beyond people using names like "NyT" and "RajiN" (which are bad names if there's no story/reason as to why there's a capital letter at the END of the name)... but I've taken countless screenshots of completely non-RP names. It's become a hobby- laughing at how horrible MarkB and Valder governed.

Also, MarkB hasn't stepped down yet. That needs to be done soon.

As for things that need changing, development-related stuff won't necessarily help the kingdom. The kingdom needs to be set for RPing first.

After that, I think the next pirate items should be the pirate hats (since there are NONE as of now) I was trying to have put up and almost had images ready for untill I was removed

Anyhow, it would be nice to see if anyone who is capable in our kingdom, to be able to add onto our island....

And I aggree, nyt is a bad name. I was refering to him not nagging at me using my internet family name, "davinci". it means alot to me that I use it, it functions as a way of my friends reaconizing me better, and its not just me trying to look cool or something (like the name "gehto child"... god I hate that name).

I think DaVinci could be allowed if you had some story or reason to it. Also, internet "family" names are just the same as online aliases. People don't need to use them for RPing. As much he'd like to and probably would if we'd allow him to, MarkB doesn't (always) call himself MarkB or anU in RPing (or rather, when you'd think he's RPing...).

Well, on Graal it's RPing your own original story. There is no WW2. Graal is not medeival times, or whatever it is people believe that it is... it's its own fictional place and time. That's why in RPing, Kurenai Joukai is NOT a Japanese kingdom. And if anyone says it is in RPing, I'll kill them- I'll be afraid of them being crazy since my character has no knowledge of what "Japan" is...

No, it's not a japanese kingdom, but dude, you cannot deny that the IC kingdom is based roughly around the OOC/IRL ancient civilisation of japan, just like the pirates are based around the irl pirates(well, the irl-fiction pirates). o_O

Once again Ziro...The reasons you were kicked out of Pirates in the first place were due to your overwhelming drive to only think of yourself...
It's oki if Nayoko didn't say something right...It's oki...It doesn't make her less of a Leader...It's oki if the RPing names aren't what you want...You aren't leader anymore...
Pirates are 100% better since you were in...Mark may not be active on GK but he has taken steps to ensure that Pirates has a great leader when Mark isn't around...Kerith has some great ideas...(Matter of fact, if you quit msging him every 5 mins he would have more time to make sure those ideas are implemented)
However, Pirates doesn't need someone that only uses it for power or his own personal playground....Offering to buy Pirates with USD is far beyond any RPing you speak of on here...
If someone doesn't like my name, seriously!!! that's no one's business...If MarkB or Kerith wish me to change it back to Nydini I will do so...A name doesn't make the character...
It's getting exhausting making sure you don't ever step foot on Pirate soil again...Having to watch out for people you might have bribed for Leadership of Pirates again or who you may have convinced you have changed since being removed...
Please leave Pirates be...don't attack our Leader, he's doing a fine job, our names are fine, our RPing is unique and improving everyday...

It's interesting that you say this when many other people seem to disagree with you on this subject as can be seen on these forums.

A name may not make an RP character but is a major part of the character. Who the hell is the person without the name? Just a face? -.-

Edit: And I will not leave pirates alone simply because you ask me to, I have the best of interest for the kingdom and refuse to let it be stepped all over as if it's some pointless non-RP clan. As I have said before, I will be in the kingdom again as soon as I am allowed to. I can't be banned forever.

hard to say who's saying what now. At any rate, I'd feel silly just going around as "Aeva", as alot of people have lastnames, even in the old days.

And again, I say, I realy started this thread with development brainstorming in mind, not debating what in a name makes a rose smell so sweet. Should I just start up a new thread and name it better?

Others, such as NyT, just posted to argue and say that the kingdom is perfect how it is with a leader who does nothing.

Ziro...A name does not make the character...I will change it back to Nydini if asked to do so by my kingdom leaders...Until then, it is not any of your business...
You can't kick me out again for going against you and not agreeing with your ways so I am no longer going to listen to you, ever again...
Go ahead and try to find people who can sneak you into Pirates again and try to bump ya up to Gov again....You got caught by MarkB and Kerith before, trying to take the Gov's rank and you will be stopped again...
The fact remains that you were removed from Pirates due to it being your own personal playground, for your ways or no way...Unlike you and Yuber, MarkB and Kerith treat the Pirates as a Kingdom...They let us have a say in new ideas, RPing events and so on...We don't have to fear being removed over not agreeing with them on something...
I for one am finally proud to be called a Pirate...Thanx Mark and Kerith, great job!
