20 New Servers...

Stefan said there'd be 20 new servers yesterday (Monday) that would go up, including mine (according to his post) and now it's been a day... can we have a new, and hopefully more accurate, estimate on when we'll get our servers? I hate to sound impatient, but I still haven't received confirmation that the time I'm missing is going to be refunded...

you should know that:

'By Monday' means 'Sometime next week'

and 'By next week' means 'Next month'

and 'By next month' means 'By 6 months from now'

Just give him time. He gets himself stressed out and starts on projects before his others are finished, and gets side-tracked. GraalOnline (professional staff) should hire more staff, they only have like, what, Stefan and Unixmad being payed?

No, they have several other paid employees that are mostly working on Graal3D

No offense to any of the GO staff, but I have to agree with that.

And zell12, there's a BUNCH of artists on Graal 3D... all of Kingdoms was hand drawn, scanned in, and colored pixel by pixel... or at least some of my sources tell me.

Tyhm gets paid and I know that for a fact. Angel I'd assume does and Magicaltux has to as well. I am glad we have Tyhm getting paid since the beautiful work he puts out is astounding. Look at classic's leetness.

unixmad said in another thread that he had about 3 full time employees working on Graal3D. More recently he said he had just hired I think 4 more.

but yea, I agree that GO needs to finnish/expand on glassic graal and GK before it goes into 3D... I mean, if I wanted to play a 3D game, I'd play Halo more often, or some other game

maybe that was just the origional gfx, like the trees and buildings and stuff...

they had some gfx professionally done or something

All high level GO staff are paid, minor staff, (globals like pwa and gst and ggt) are not paid, I dont think lyndzey is paid, btu she should be because <3 for lyndzey, new comp for her would be good :P

our NPC Server was supposed to be up in January. But stefan decided to give it more time, now SneakyKnight gets on and masses about Kat because Stefan said give it more time. But Kat doesnt care

And Stefan is working on alot of things so may have got delayed to putting new servers up, or maybe someone needs to go to the datacenter to do so.

I know that this is a bit off-topic; but where are the datacenters located? And what Gservers are in the diffrent datacenters?

the datacenters are i think located in france, and they are a whole mess of servers i presume, i suppose they could also be dedi serves up at rackspace or some other such company.

Your time isnt being wasted....Only when your server goes on serverlist and is accessible only then your money is being used..And that begins when stefan has a chance.
