Indeed. I don't like the idea.
Primarily because i've gone off the whole idea that any items at all should be created anymore. There are already too many stupid items out there that've unbalanced everything, and there's no way of fixing it without redoing the system and/or having a reset, which will never ever happen. So let's concentrate on things it might be possible to achieve one day, eh? Like Good, strong RolePlaying. F _ _ T S.
My other objection is that they would just make things even more crazy and silly. People would have a decent weapon here, AND they'd be able to EA them and prepare them...unless some system was made whereby you can't prepare or EA them, which unbalances things still.
More useless items = BAD
