my try on a katana

I think your directions are messed up 0.o; And the blade is too jagged with some of the angles.

i fixed the direction numbers and i think i fixed the jaggedness.

The ones to the immediately left and right of straight graphics are still way too jagged.

Actually try not using a black outline. Black outlines are for pansies.

Unless you want a cartoonish look that is yeah, make a dark colored outline, it makes the shading "blend" better in with the rest of the graphic

well they are curved at the end (sharp side)
but not at the blunt side

no, I ment the whole thing is curved...

I own one, and it's curved o.o and all the Katana's I've ever seen have been curved....

yes i have one similiar to that one but im 100% sure you have you straight katana's too i think katana is just the name for the technique to craft the sword soft core,hard blade.

funny, my friend does kendo and his katana is straight, with only a slight curve at the top O.o

Aren't there like a bajillion different variations of all the forms of martial arts? There are probably variations of the sword-wielding ones that use straight edges, and some that use curved edge. I know nothing though

I was looking at katanas online awhile ago though, and below each one that places were selling it said like "made from <something something alloy>, and cannot be used for cutting purposes. This may damage the blade. It can only be used for training purposes" So i was like 'Where's the fun in that? I want to go slicing branches off trees and stuff '
