RC suggestion.

Allow us to block people who are in jail levels in RC. It is very annoying that, after you jail someone, they start swearing like a trucker and flaming you with PM's sent to your RC.

Especially since only 6 people on playerworlds can ban now... 3 of them being managers/payer, and the rest admins or whatever. Not all 6 people can be active enough to ban people for doing things like this.

In the rules they state it's illegal to block/ignore people when you're staff, it's a fireable offence.

I don't see how hard it is for servers to have a toban.txt in a folder in the FTP... or a todo.txt or so =|

That isn't on-demand. It's very annoying having to check your RC PM's every 5 seconds to get "OMFGOMMGFOMOGF UR AN *** UR AN *** UR AN *** UR AN *** [...]" -_-

Or, allow you to block them if they've said swear words in PM's to your RC xx number of times...

They'd just bypass the detection code by using numbers/symbols among other tricks that actual spammers use to bypass spam-blockers.

I agree.. something like toban.txt takes too long.

Stuff needs to be done immediatly, and its difficult with those new rules.

Maybe have the RC when a player is in a Jail level ( i.e. jail.nw or jail.graal) limit the player to a PM every 60 secs like trial mode accounts.

With 6 having the ability of ban there should always be or most of the time be someone on a PW that can ban someone if it is nessary, if this isn't the case then there seems to be Staff issues that need to be addressed. There should always be a high Admin accessible to Staff and players on a PW most of the time. Having the 6 highest Admins on a server on very little is a problem that needs to be addressed by the PWA. That is no good for the Playerworld or Graal.

A solution for that is making sure each person with those abilities live in different timezones. But that can be difficult to arrange :x

We have 24 hours a day, splitting them for 6 people makes 4 hours to be online for each, which even only works out if they are perfectly spread over timezones which is not the case on any PW I know; quite much, no?

Why would you even need somebody who can ban on when it's like 5amEST? the majority of the players seem to live around the Eastern timezone... There would be barely anybody online...

Another suggestion... Make the RC not crash when you make a really long name... I tried to set my name to "cookiecookiecookiecookie {etcetcetc}" and it said something about an illegal operation... when I logged back on, this is what greated me. "

there are 139 characters in the "cookiecookie" name thing... So maybe have a pop up saying "your name's too long" when someone trys to set their RC name over a certian amount or characters and reset it to their account name...

I agree very difficult to do since we don't live in a perfect world that is prolly impossible to do. There will always be dead areas of times when no one is on and all you can do is the best you can with what you have to work with. But having 20 people with Ban ablility isn't the answer either. We all know what that leads to half the time. Good Managers will compensate in some way to deal with those times and get the best coverage for the busiest time they have.

I agree having someone on duty (Admin) when there are only a few players on is a waste when they may be needed at other times. So it may be best to have a ban level to use to hold such players in till at such time when an Admin gets on who can ban from the server. This will still provide coverage for the slack time and solve the ban issue within those times.
