What? Rules get changed all the time when people complain about them. It used to be a rule that women could not vote - this got changed from complaining etc. They didn't just say 'Rules are rules, I guess we can't vote.'

Anything can always be changed, it is an often hard and long process to do so, but people shouldn't giveup about things they believe in, whether in real life - or these forums.
