some PWs that are UC are planing on useing their own tileset... so would that change your theory if/when they go up?

Despite the graphics on Era are simple, they are different than the norm. That is what I look for when I look into these new playerworld threads. If I don't see anything that strikes me as being new or unique then I'll point out what I think would make it better. Appearance is only part of the mix, but it does help when its as good as everything else. I know Doragon won't be some kind of graphical eye-candy. That's not what I want. I want something away from the normal, but not something that will distract from the game atmosphere I want to create.

Again, just because it may look pretty doesn't mean it plays the same. And likewise, just because it looks ugly doesn't mean it plays like that either. Strike a balance, if you can. Focus on what you are trying to achieve that you think will benefit players and give them an enjoyable experience.
