I sent my app way before time was up (I even IMed you on aim when I did to see if you got it but you didn't respond) and you haven't replied to mine. =/

I got a reply the next day O_o.

I sent mine the 16th which when Spark got it would have been the 17th.

His global gfx and PWA jobs tie in pretty closely, I think he could hold both of them. I also don't see a problem with him spending his spare time on 2k1 or by extension retaining his FAQ-ing job there, it gives people a place to contact him at. Forest King isn't really a 'staff job' so that shouldn't be considered.

If he has "spare time" it will be needed for the PWA and is where he needs to devote his time if he gets the job. Holding a job on a server is a conflict of interest. Spark did say this in the beginning

Believe it or not, when having a job on graal, there exists time when you are on graal but have nothing new to do with that job.

Spark also said that 2k1, kingdoms, and classic were excluded from when he used the word "playerworld". It's a question more of bias than of time.

With the shear amount of PWs there are now with new ones still popping up, it's hard for me to imagine there being much spare time left when doing your duties as a PWA. He excluded them for them being used for a review. But Spark will have to answer all these questions arisen here when he gets time.

Playerworlds should have to apply for review. Reviewing them all is inefficient since some might not even have been worked on or started on yet and some are probably test servers.

Um, people know that they can contact me to help solve their PW problems, and in addition to that I have 2 other big jobs (GST + managing 2k1), yet I still have spare time to relax. Care to explain this phenomenon?

11 Pages long is too much. I'd get bored halfway through and just quit. But good luck to chris, hope me and him get the job(I tried out as well).

"Quality over quantity," I agree fully but quite frankly I believe my standards are higher than most of you and that's the reason my application is so long. Oh well, the people reviewing the app would be the judges of that

I know what you mean, I've been trying to keep out of this thread, for obvious reasons. To me, Moon God was just simply re-stating the requirements that Spark provided for the people who get the job. And that was that the people chosen need to give up their current jobs, as Spark wants them to devote their time and energy to PWA.

Anyways, good luck to everyone and may the most experienced and suitable person get selected for the job.

Standards have nothing to do with it.

You should be able to summarize your writing no matter your standards. Writing an application that long can only lead to some sort of repetition, and that doesn't help much.

Standards are a goal for quality.
They aren't always going to be met, and just because you have large standards doesn't mean they can't be compiled.

I'm not actually directing this towards you but as a whole to anyone who writes so much. You just happen to be an open example.

I consider this constructive criticism anyways.

You're assuming I'm not capable of meeting my own standards and using me as an "open example" yet I shouldn't take this as if it was directed towards me? You can't judge my application (especially negatively) because you have not seen it and if you do I believe I have the right to defend myself and when I make a similar statement to yours the same rules should apply.

Edit: It's actually 9 pages when I reduced the spacing between questions after saving it as a .rtf. It looked alot neater when a new question was started on a new page in word and sometimes there was half a page remainding.

Edit 2: I just realised it could even be alot less than 9 considering after saving as .rtf each line holds about twice as much characters as it did in word. That statement was also made before saving as a .rtf ;x
