Spark910 has a spectacular aura about
Talking PWA Application [Part 3]

And here is the final part to the application…
You should now have got part1 and part2 ready and you should now be able to add part3 and be finished. Please read the following information below, if you haven’t already about what you should know and be able to do:

*You must be willing and must to quit any job you have with a playerworld at this moment in time, should you get offered (you don’t have to take it) the job and take it.

*The supporters are just a decider. They actually serve no purpose at all, should people be able to write good applications that stand out from the rest.

*We are looking for two, possibly three people to join the team. Please do not be angry or get upset should you not get the job. There will be a lot of people applying, when we are only going to pull two or three out of the applicants.

*You must complete all three parts of the application and send it to the e-mail address provided (this e-mail address is not my normal one, do not send there)

*The application will be similar to the last application for the PWA. The reason for this was I got accepted through it, and I felt it was a good application that was simple if you read what to do.

*You must have a VIP or GOLD account which is upgradeable by you when the account expires.

Here are the advanced requirements:

+You must have worked on a playerworld as an admin at one point. You can also apply if you were something such as: GP Admin, NPC Admin, FAQ Admin etc…

+You must be willing to leave all playerworld jobs you have to put your energy into this team.

+You must be able to be online for at least 7-10hours a week on your PWA duties.

+You must be contactable by at least one medium of communication such as E-mail.

+You must be able to write documents on playerworlds (reviews and reports) and help create rules for playerworlds to follow and documents to help playerworlds function.

+Work within a dead line to meet certain needs. At the end of each month the PWA will have a decision in what playerworlds are moved around, you should be able to help form an opinion with support for it, to say which playerworlds do and don’t move from the public eye.

What you should already have:
Part 1:
Well you should by now have the 3 supports, if not then you can still get them. If you have all 3, you can now add them to this part of the application. You must complete all parts, so if you have missed part one if can be found here:

http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/s...threadid=48378

Part 2:
For part two you should have followed the application found in the thread about it. You should answer all the questions and situations. You should save that in a document and add part 3 to it, and later send it as a rtf document. To see part 2, go here:

http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/s...threadid=48458

Application Part Three:
Part three is a review. You must pick a playerworld from the classic tab and write a review as if its not currently online/visible. (You can not review Graal The Adventure or Graal2001)

It’s FULLY up to you how you set out this review, what you write about and what you include. Please keep it text only; however you can write where you would have added over media types.

You review should give the reader a detailed look at the playerworld and let the reader know what the playerworld is like and if it shall be anything new or not. In your review you should form a conclusion and give it some sort of mark along with a pass or fail, along with a reason why.

CLOSING DATE:
The closing date will be the 18th October 2003 at 5PM GMT (London Time). It is suggested you send in all parts either on/before the 16th or 17th. The date will not be extended. You can start sending in applications now.
______________________________________________
WHERE TO SEND IT TO:
When you are fully finished with part 1, 2 and 3 you can send it in to the following e-mail address: [email protected] SEND HERE NOW
Please put the subject as: PWA Application: <your nickname>

Everything you have should be sent in a .rtf document as a file attachment.

The final closing date for this application will be: 18th October 2003 (5PM GMT)

Good luck to everyone, and remember we are only looking for two or three applicants to be offered the job, so a lot of people will not get this job, but don’t be angry or upset over it. The staff hired will be on a trial and may be removed at the end of a trial, giving way for another space.

Asking random people you don't know isn't a very smart way to go about this. If someone is supporting someone else, it should be because they believe that person will do a good job as PWA.

I agree , but it seems some are treating this more like a game than a job and that is disappointing.

Indeed. I just hope that the new hirees are more responsible than some of the past PWA members we have had. For this, I hope Spark runs his list by a few people before he posts it, in order to see if they have anything to say about their prior experiences with these people.

Well, just because i need one more support means nothing. I could care less who supports me, because I would take this as a job, not a game. It's not like I'm blowing it off, as the application said, the supports dont mean much. Unless you've seen my entire application, I don't think I should be accused of treating this like a "game" (thought I'm not sure you were directing that at me or not), with all due respect to you guys, since you are much more experienced and respected, I would appreciate being given the benefit of the doubt. I know I'm not the most known Graal player ever, in fact, little people DO know me...but I don't really believe that Graal jobs should be purely based on popularity so I'm going to take my chances, and apply. Just because I can.

I garnered no supports, but only because I thought that I should be accepted because of what I can do, not what I did.

(And everyone else already passed out their supports. )

In my opinion, all this commotion about getting supporters
has gotten out of hand... Everyone is running around smacking
up people for supports, I even had 3 or 4 people who I have
never seen ask me to support them... I don't even know if my
support would count...

Yea, i'm not gunna ask anymore. i've asked some friends, but they already are supporting others...and it's bugging people way to much, and it's starting to annoy them. I remember how it felt when I was manager of Frolic, and people annoyed me about it.

I guess i'm cut..gg :-x.

Well, Graal is a game. It's easy to blur the line.

Also, remember that supports are not so important this time as they have been in the past. Don't get all worked up if you don't have all 3, I'd rather have <3 than get them dishonestly. Now I'll just figure out a PW to judge, I may do the one I work on to show that I can be objective.

Might want to try one you're not intimately familiar with. If you're accepted for PWA you don't really have the oportunity to get that familiar with any one server, even if you wanted to.

Yep you can bet I am not doing Npulse nor will I use an account that is familer to others as being my account. This way I can get a more honest approach from the Staff and a more honest look at the server.

You'd find a suprising ammount of people don't read the forums, and probably don't know you... I'd say when i'd been PWA for a month on average only half the people i ran into knew who i was.

Heheh if I never posted here I would be surprised at the ones that didn’t know me. I am astonished at the ones that come up to me on other servers who seem to know me or of me, I never realized how well known I have seemed to become on Graal. I have never gotten on a server that I didn't get several PMs telling me “Hi”.I am not bragging about this I am just amazed at the ones that do know me not by the ones who don't. I have never thought of myself as anything special, just another player on the Game but I do enjoy talking to a lot of people and maybe that is why I am so well known, I'm sure it has very little to do with these Forums. Most of the ones I talk to don't even post here.

Try getting 8 trillion zillion IM's on AIM from people who know you from Graal... And half of them, you don't even know X_D.

I love Graal The Adventure. Only like two people know me there and I get called a n@@b all the time

That's because the forums aren't free, and the majority of Graal's populace plays using accounts they did not pay for, whether it be a trial or a stolen account..
