...a script var for if players have "don't connect levels" enabled or not?

I dont know about that but I know if you use a gmap instead of the levelfile.txt it is automatically one giant level and you cant make it not connect levels. Might be alot easier to just make it a gmap instead of a txt document. It will save on alot of unnecessary scripting assuming its possible at all.

gmaps are definately helpful and increase the interaction between levels. it wouldn't matter if the player has "don't connect levels" on anyway, because even if the levels are connected clientside NPCs wont go from one level to another. If you want to make a serverside NPC to through levels, it doesn't make a difference because the player will see the NPC going through the levels regardless of if they're connected or not.

I didn't ask about a gmap, though. I asked about a specific var for a specific purpose. I know that gmaps are good, but they weren't the answer to my question.

I'd like someone to close this thread, as my question was already answered.
