End of Ages hasn't been hiring new staff for over 5 months (not counting scripters) But i think we have come to the point where we could use a few more level makers, and scripters (and MAYBE a gfx person or 2).

Anyone who applies for levels MUST like to detail their levels a LOT, and make a minimal amount of tile errors. I will be posting 4 screenshots, to show the level style we are useing.

We do have an edited tileset, which uses the old grass, trees, and a few other things, but over 80% of the tiles are edited, or new. We still might add origional grass, and water to the tileset... but we are not sure about that yet.

The overworld is 400 levels, and was made in the level generator, then detailed. It is about 70% finnished. EoA will have 3 races when it goes public. Those are Elves, Dwarves, and Humans. Each race will have it's own advantages, and disadvantages, as well as their own NPC's, and towns, and other things special to that race.

We are opening up staff applications for developmental possitions, because we feel that with more staff helping, we will be able to go public sooner.

*NOTE!* NO high staff possitions are available, and we are NOT hiring Events, FAQ, or GP's till we are almost ready to go public.

The mine tiles were the only things I liked, other than that, almost everything is default or a recolor. I don't know if those things on the outside levels were swamp tiles, but whatever they are, they're hideous. Good luck with your server though.

Umm, the tiles replacing the swamp are still swamp tiles, they just have corners now. But I agree they stick out a bit more than the other tiles, perhaps a colour change can fix that.

thanks to all those who felt the need to rate those screenshots, but they were not posted there to rate, or show off, or anything of the sort. They were posted to show examples of our level style, and what we expect from our LAT's.

And regarding our tileset, it is still a work in the making... like i posted in my first post in this thread, we might still make our own grass, and water, i don't know yet, but i do know that (at the very least), the grass and trees will be darkened just a little, so it will all work together. Also, as i said before, this tileset was never intended to be 100% origional, or even attempt to be, it is ment to be an improvment upon the classic tileset... we fixed small pixle errors in the tiles, some coloring errors, and replaced a few tiles that were never used, with more usefull ones (like new path transitions, and stuff) also, we replaced some not-so-great tiles, with better versions (like the cave tiles).

All you did was to rotate some stuff and change detail.

Don't say i stole this from you, this was made 2 years ago for my old server.

It's pretty obviously a different style, you use an outline while EoA uses a technique to create the illusion of one using contrasting colors, a superior method when working with limited pixels.

No, not everything is made 2 years ago..

That was taken from my old tileset...

And i really.. really don't see how you can say i steal from oasis, and then say this two are totally different.... just look at them for gods sake..

That box was made by Kyle Odin, a former member of the global graphics team. I doubt very much he would even need to take anything from your old tileset, and i am sure he is quite capable of making his own graphics.

And as the others have said, they do not look alike... i mean, a box is a box, sure, they are both representations of the same thing, but if you look at the pixles, they do not even look the same, even if you do 'rotate some stuff' it still does not look the same.

its...just...a..BOX!!! a standard 32x32 pixel BOX...both split into 2 sections 16 pixels tall oh look at that...thats 4 graal tiles. and that considered, you cant get very original with a wodden....box

boxes...lmao...well you obviously both got the idea from konidias.. -_- he was the first person to make a box and gastly steals more stuff from konidias but ive seen that tileset on more servers than EoA before EoA existed so you both should shut up

By the way, have all you people commenting on the "tileset" seen the tileset or are you just going by that picture? From what i understand it isn't done...

it's a friggin wooden box guys, it was not stolen, why would we steal a box from another PW, when we have plenty of gfx people to make our own boxes?

the graphic was made by Kyle Odin, a former Global Gfx team member, and as i said, i severly doubt he needed to steal graphics for us to use

anyways, we're still looking for tallented level makers, especially anyone willing to make cave levels, with our new set of tiles dedicated to caves (as you can see in the 1 screenshot I posted)

You, YES YOU, DARKVILLIN were allways stealing my tiles.. then blaming it on your gfx admin who didn't exits.. i showed you some castle tiles next day you use them... my carpet tiles, EVEN MY BOX...
