Did you not read my post? China's name is a misnomer, just like Zormite's is. Honestly, literacy isn't such a complicated skill to learn; I taught myself how to read (with minor assistance) before I was even four years old. Assuming you're older than that, you don't have much of an excuse.

Few excuses for illiteracy exist. Again, literacy is not a terribly difficult skill to acquire.

My grandfather was a German/Hungarian immigrant to the US from the time that the communists were taking over. He learned to speak English. He was far older than twelve, mind you.

Again: If they are getting stupider, it is by choice, not by force. If anything, the force would be towards increasing their intelligence, at least on the forums.
