Would people be able to see you messing around with the tiles or will the "level editing" be something only you can see until you hit the 'save' button? (Assuming hitting the save button or whatever updates the level ._.)

If not, I'd rather just stick to editing offline. -shrugs-

Yeah, my beta version of it was where everyone would be able to see you doing it as you did it...but I've started converting it to where you have to hit a save button, since there was already a save button on the image I was using (NC Weapon edit window).

I think two versions would be nice, because the building while players can see could be apart of an event. Like a player building a house or something on a role-play server, you need to get a few people to hammer on wood and a level maker updates it as they go. I remember they did that on Providence, really fun. Once I had like 20 people "building" a big house.

What? Why not just have a script show parts of an image which look like tiles? Or even better, set the tiles when they "build" them through gscript..
