New Monsters?

Are there going to be new ubermonsters? How's a guy who is level50 supposed to level up? Most monsters don't give much EXP after a while

Perhaps true, but some of us push for level 100!

Though, it would be dissappointing if the non-beta were to be another server or Refresh everything (reset characters)

I had 2 types (5 all together) of monsters done but Stefan isn't able to transfer them till the dungeon is finished

Hehe, that's me! I still do lots and lots of maps for exp. Lords dont give me alot, probably new monsters not either. Sticking to the maps. lvl 51 now

Judging by other things I've seen for graal, I'd say that they'll only be difficult for levels 1-12, anything above that would probably be able to kill the monster and get ~4029k exp

I think there should be some new monsters. But maybe like 4000 hp so that its like a team effort?

I don't want to see Dragon X just come up whack it a few times and kill it in 3 minutes on what took me about 2 days x.x.

I was reading the thing about bomy moon and kingdoms. Well, I don't really see any connection. Other then the fact that the bomy's attack you, and then it says how we are building up our army they are too? Does that mean one day on a peaceful day on graal ^-^ 2 million bomys come on a boat and try to kill us all or soemthing? Or is there going to be a link between the lords,dragons,bomys, and upcoming monsters?:o

Well no, one type you might be able to kill, the other one no, the point of them is for them to kill you ;o (they're killable but highly unlikely that it will happen)

I'd tell you what will make it so you can't kill you but that'd spoil it, let's just say if it hits you, you wont be able to hit it back, and the chance of it not hitting you is extremelly low ( > -100 wc)

From the sounds of it so far Jagen, it sounds like you want to make a punchbag for yourself. (when you made yourself lvl 100 and changed your class to 'god') If even a level 50 has problems killing it, and this is beta.....that'll be out of line by far..

Stefan knew I made myself level 100, so stop complaining about that, in other games you have things like 'bombs', the purpose of them is to kill you, not for you to kill them, my monsters are similar, you shouldn't be able to magically conquer dungeons, it should be a hard thing to do

I understand now, but it shouldn't be godly to where it takes the whole server to kill you know? And you are right about dungeons, and same is true about dragons if they get put in.... I mean, when have you ever heard of one man slaying a dragon alone with ease? unless it was a power-trip RP (btw jagen, forum pm)

Though also, shobre or NYChris can probably beat Huang or DX when they use that buffer bug....that one where you trick the npc into maxing your stats by lowering them with Gauntlets of Titan, swords of Woe, etc - it amazes me that bug hasnt been fixed yet unless im mistaken and it isn't a bug

I'm afraid you're out of luck. Higher level people are going to have an advantage over you. You can't have it so everyone has to kill the monster equally, that would be ridiculous.

If DragonX or some other player is insanely strong, and they can kill tough monsters in a few hits, then that is that. You can't say it isn't fair, because they spent way more time gaining strength than you did, and they shouldn't have to spend the same amount of time defeating new monsters as you. Does that make sense?

Spend lots of time gaining levels now = Spend less time killing future monsters

Spend barely any time gaining levels now = Spend a lot of time killing future monsters

GK is still stuck in the Final Fantasy 7 system where you can level up past the bosses to woop them... It needs to upgrade to the Final Fantasy 8 system where you level up and so does your opponent.... Sounds more reasonable than making new monsters once a week when people pass level 100. :o The monsters should have their own strength for the player who is killing it or something..

It would take the average of both players statistics and incorporate it into itself, thus resulting in a medium lord! Nah, I don't think anyone is going to take the time to script that though..

I find lords easy even tho i have bad WC... my ac is -21/23 i think and only 1 of my things are +5 most are +3to+4,so if you get your AC to amazing like -30 to -40 if possible you will be able to beat this Dragon unless Jagen does add the -100wc (will it breath fire,and will there be Frost Dragons and make a Dungeon in the Snow Area and like a mini quest where you must kill all the 5 Dragons and then you must travel across a sea and deliver this to a Castle and recive a cash or item prize?) just a idea ^_^

Make more variaton! Add a swamp level, where there are Hydra's, that are about as strong as rexes, and a sort of "boss" that is an orc lord, or an medusa. Also, why recolors of every creature? Instead of a red rex, a cave troll. Instead of a blue iguanadon, a orc warrior. Easy, no?
