stat potion mistake!

don't do what i did!

if you have 20 of a stat, don't drink a potion for it! i didn't know, and i tried to drink a dexterity potion, and "nothing happened" .. so I wasted it!

oh well, I have "the artifact" now so I can get a gold key once that guy on Zormite wants it again .. o.o;

how come the quests don't reset?

From what I know, it gets reset when someone finishes it... Then again, it said the Zormite Chef neads the icebox - but he wouldn't take it... maybe someone else was first, but the board still claims he wants it... looks like I gotta try every other chef, too, and hope...

Also, I think it's logical that 20 is a max... even for potions... it'd unbalance the game if someone could just go up to 40Str...

Stefan said a LONG time ago that the max you can get with stat potions is 20 :o

I was wondering, where do you get the doohickey door? And quests don't have to reset, just give the person what they used to want, even if they say something else ;9

with stat potions 20 is the max, but you can get above that with using rings and stuff to the 30 max.

The quest that needs to be done for a doohicky door is one where you have to escort someone somewhere to get it, since it is already done, you can't escort them.

No, they don't - I've seen the same NPC accept something now, but not later, either taking nothing or something else. Also, the escort-missions need to be reset in some way, or how would you bring a granddaughter to her grandmother when they're together after someone did it before?

The person should be invisable to everyone else but you when you excourting them. And when you take one, it follows you, but that same npc is always still there, just invisable to you so another person can take it.
