Rudora Map & News

Thought we'd died? Well, we're very much alive. We have proof too. But first, news.

We're pretty much done with our levels, just crossing the Is and dotting the Ts. :P
We've got a little map shuffling to do, but other than that, it's okay.

We're currently populating the world with NPC people, which shouldn't take too long to do.

Quests, we're updating the quests now to meet standard, as the old Rudora ones were a little on the old side.

So, all I can say is we're almost done.

Here's a little treat for now.

Constructive Criticism is always valued.

Spark910 has a spectacular aura about
Okay for those who dont know, I do as I started this project:

They have mixed bits from:
*Old Old Rudora (Shape of the main islands/town)
*Old Rudora (The very detailed bit, thats only in two parts, the raised platform bit, and a little town, as each previous manager is remembered through Rudora)
*New Rudora (Everything thats new)

They have alot of jobs done, and a nice new idea (*Advises them not to publically say it*) Oh and the top right which is the player town looks weird on the map, but fine in game.

My Opinion:

Populate all of that empty water with islands and things, it wouldn't set you back too far, timewise. And it would make it alot better. Then with what water is left, add a little bit of detail, but not loads =D

But its nice and big and has come along way...

I'm more inclined to agree with Knuckles, Rudora IS a bit overcrowded, so that's why we're going to do a bit map shuffling as soon as it's possible to space it out.

Reminds me of that one server that was being made by the ex staff of Xone. It was called medieval or something.

I think the map is pretty nice, expect the levels seem to be a bit detailed.

And that square island (I think it is an island) needs to be fixed. Squares aren't very attractive on maps.

Don't worry, we're in the process of desquaring that, and the reason it was square to start with is because it was in a different place before. :P

It looks ok I guess, looks as if you had 30 different levels makers making 30 different small parts... maybe just cluttered and not very smooth. If that makes sense at all.
