Concerns on Monsters

I really think that we should stop using the wolf template for every monster, and is that suppose to be a werewolf or a WOLF... why is a panther walking on 2 legs? --The avatar for brigid, shouldn't it be walked on 4 legs, seems much more realistic... and maybe some 4 legged monsters in this game.
The only monsters that don't use wolf template are bomy'type monsters and skeletons.

Below are the monsters that need fixing:

1.) Golem- should be BIG(bigger than human) fattish shoulders and small head.
2.) Panther Avatar- must be made 4 legged please!

3.) Wolf- change name to werewolf

4.) Stop using Wolf Template, not everything has abbs and that kind of body.

Oh yes and why not do this... have same monsters but change names to like EXAMPLE: (Rabid Smoky, Vicious Smoky, Augmented Smoky. Not just 1 monster, Smoky.)

I agree, I was disappointed when I first saw it. I wanted to see it run on 4 legs, and when it caught up, it would smack you with a paw or jump on you :o something Panther-like

Yeah I thought it'd be like that =(
I wish it was.
But yet again, they always have to be lazy or make things look stupid in this game... O_O
Such as most of the spells, theyre lame!

The summon avatar just summons your gods strongest warrior from your cult to fight for you, not the god itself.

Summon holy servant does the same thing only weaker.

So call holy servant is enabled again?

Also, I think the golem is fine as it is - after all, golem, magic fist, the elementals, they all have the same size when it comes to attacking, so the gfx should do fine till they may be improved some day when the main bulk of work is donw
I like the wolves the way they are, no matter the name. Different sorts of smokeys/dievils/heavils wouldn't be that bad, except that you can never know how strong the creature is you're about to attack. This, though, may be not the worst when complexity of the game is concerned...

Besides, I don't think those who work hard on the game are lazy - they're just trying to get their work done. Better have something working without bugs and move on to the next thing than work for weeks on the same thing and let other stuff unattended...

That would kind of make it like another crappy RPG with a bunch of crappy recolred monsters. What Stefan should do is add actual dungeons with new monsters pertaining to that dungeon only. Like for example, maybe there are some giant spiders in a cave.

Wolves are dungeons-only, heavils are haunted house only... and smokeys, foggys, heavils and dievils are recolors - still that's fine, as they have different attacks...

I don't really mind Brigid's avatar ..

.. I'm the only one who uses it anymore .. Chibi switched to Govannon and Justin switched to Aengus.

As far as I know no one else can use it.

.. but I was hoping for a four-legged panther as well, I do think that'd be better, I guess.

.. it's too bad you can't summon your actual god. There ought to be a prayer where you can summon your god .. perhaps level 20 or so ..

.. that'd be nice ..

There's a way to in D&D with the prayer beads.

It would not be wise to summon your god without good reason....

Maybe you could find people who are good RPers to RP the gods. Change their equipment, stats, etc. and set them to around level 80 though it would be quite difficult to find people who won't abuse the power, let alone 8

I wouldn't. I am confident that people trust me to roleplay a God.

I know some would (like myself ), but being in such a position, you wouldn't be able to PK at all, plus you would only be able to go to the mainland when you are needed/summoned. You would have to be online more often, and maybe even add something where you can hear your follower's prayers and grant them, no more of this needed grace stuff, you give it to them when they are worthy, but it would need to be avoided that you just automatically give everything to your followers :P

yes tyhm you are correct on that i was just reading Gods & Demi-gods and lets just say they get more then grumpy when you summon them for no reason they would more then likely kill you immeadatly. as for having names and such well here's the plan. It would help a lot if you could give more of a description on those monsters so we know more towards the feel that you want for varieties and i can see why you want more monsters and places *whistles* but you have to understand, its very hard work getting every one to work non-stop on somthing that they dont know how the thing should look. But i do agree with most of this post they are very good idea's ^_^

Hm... you'd need players to cover 24h a day for each god... to decide about each prayer... which is almost impossible as you can't know the player's intention... You'd need at least 8 players, times 3 for different 8-hour shifts... uhm... no °°
