I agree that some parts of the forums should be accessible by the players who dont upgrade to gold....maybe just the PW part, so they can keep up with the servers...but I dont agree that it should all be free to everyone

Nono, I'm not disputing that, it's a good deal for the forums, but lots of people want the VIP private forum up now. That won't do much, it'll let the dust settle and you'll see mroe arguing and complaining in a week or two.
But it's those peoples fault for trying to walk across an unfinished bridge.

I guess I have to post this again:

Borrowed from http://www.graalonline.com/about/join.php#vip
Access a special Forum to get Graal development news direct from our Dev Team. Suggest ideas and features that you'd like to see in future releases of Graal.
All I need is an abbility to see into the future of graal through developers eyes. So much as a:

Project : Description : Percentage Done

Would be great.

Just so you guys know.. yes, I could easily add a forum and call it the "VIP Forum". Sure, thats takes all of 30 seconds. The problem is only allowing access to those VIP members. That would require a modification to the source code of vB. Unixmad is the only one allowed access to that. PM him about it or something.

Well, while that may be true. Cyberjouers should have never ALLOWED those people to attempt to cross the bridge until it was finished. You don't see the government letting people drive on bridges that are incomplete...It's no different, the government would be sued if it did such a thing, and if enough people got fed up with it, they might be able to sue CJ and win. I seriously doubt anyone would try though.

Doing so would be stupid on something like this. First of alot of people use CCs that are their parents. As they may not be old enough for one. So if you do that, then quit and forget your details for account etc or forget about it, it would take money out each year. And you have given permission to do so, and so, they could keep your money.
