Farming Suggestion

I think farming should maybe be taken to the next level. Like, there could be all different kinds of crops that you are able to plant/grow, besides corn, like tomatoes, carrots, berries, and so on. There could also be different types of trees you can plant, like cherry trees, that would require watering and care, not just planting and waiting.

I think that planting certain types of things should require a certain type of land/soil to plant them on. For example, corn wouldn't be able to grow on sand near the beach, and that trees could only be planted succesfully on grass, or soil, or whatever suits it.

There could be certain types of food that pets like most. Like horses favorite food could be carrots, and if you fed them one then it would like you more than if you were to give it a piece of bread. Maybe a place to create special fodder for horses could be added.

Just some ideas I came up with, feel free to share what you think of them. =]

put food the... err things (can't remeber what they're called, heh) that you can craft and it looks like it turns into grass.

That does sound like a okay idea but most of use do not eat very oftenr so no need for farming most of usr have ammy of sustence and/or cretae food spell.

The feeder thingy is called trough, and can be filles with up to 5000 units of food methinks. Also, the idea of different plants sounds good, but the different soils... maybe you could have something that grows on sand only (rice? not because of the sand, but the water...), but there aren's that many different soils avaliable, also you wouldn't want to journey cross main just to reach the overcrowded rice-spot.
Besides, I think Tyhm once said there's be more plants, and the possibility to cook on your house's cooker, once he gets the images required for it. If my memory doesn't fail me, he mentioned a sugar plant for sweets, too...
