New PW?

Hey everyone this is Zecharis, I remember back in old N-Pulse when there were the good oldbies and it was nice and calm, PKing always in level 3 main, and all of that. I would like to know (Although i probably know what ALL the staff will say) if I could remake old N-Pulse. Here is the thing-
1. I will make it only private if you want.
2. I will Re-make EVERY level since I do not have any of the levels.
3. I will make new quests, and remake some of the old ones.

Please answer me soon, none of it will be old levels. I'm assuring you of that. And I will try to make it exactly like old N-Pulse, and try to make it not like the new one. I don't want to get started until it is official that I may put the server up if the review is good, I hope to see your answer soon.

1.) You can't have JUST private PWs, well you can, but why would they want to give you one? Also you are no longer aloud UC development PWs unless you have a super strong team that can actually work and produce something at the end of it all.

2.) That would be the same as remaking all of Graal 2000's levels and calling it classic when the only similatiries are the town names, if you were to do it at all, get old level packs.

3.) See Above!

a) Also don't forget what made old N-Pulse were the players, most of which have left so it wouldn't work.

b) Too many PWs, and if we keep putting them up, the average player count will decrease due to spreading over all PWs.

Too late.

Old npulse had a lot of quests back then. A lot more than the average/above average playerworld. It sounds like a good diea. Only problem is those quests were for items with DBZ names.
I remember lots of those weapons too. Weapons like Kamehameha, Kaio-ken, EnergyBlast, Spirit Bomb, and a lot of other DBZ attacks.
There was also a lot of stuff that was illegal and offensive.

Forget it. I just found someone making a PW and the staff is mostly all from old n-pulse. So as one of you said we can't bring back the people. Well we just did. =P And Arc- trust me you wouldn't beleive how many people that still play graal that wre on old n-pulse

You know what, someweirdperson?
You have no idea how much I would have loved to keep old Npulse alive, Graal is NOTHING like it was back then, and it was the people/community that made things that way...those people are gone, and levels, npc's, and everything else have a much higher quality now then they did back then...you cant live in the past.
People have told me that we have destroyed Npulse, when that is NOT the case....P2P destroyed the (Community) which made up Npulse.
Wake up and see what really happened to Graal.

95% of Npulse was comprised of "freebie players" so when it all went to P2P as Moonie stated above it killed the player base of Npulse. True some of the players are still around and gave in , bought a P2P and yet still the Community you are trying to revive doesn't exist anymore. It has been said time and time again it is NOT the levels that make a PW but the Community. Something you fail to understand. And which phase of Npulse are you talking about anyway? I put Npulse in 3 major phases, (1) the original put online from the beginning, tile errors up the whazoo, easy and lame quest, corrupt Staff (not all) stolen GFX. (Npulse has grown a lot since those days

)

(2) The Combining Phase, the time when Geo combined Teir Dal and Npulse to make a mass lump of mostly undeveloped grassland and added Kingdoms. (it turned out to be horrid and a big mistake) This is also the time we had an Intro, you know the one where only 1 player at a time could go thru and hung people up for hours in limbo.

Lets see, yes it was also the time when Geo banned all Guilds on Npulse in favor of Kingdoms, that was fun

we lost tons of players and almost 3/4 of the Staff over that.
Then we come to (3) The 3rd phase and current phase of Npulse.
Much has changed , Npulse was reduced in size to a more reasonable level and filled in. Some of the old levels remain but still have been revamped to today’s standards and not yesterdays. Some of the old quests remain but then again that also have been for the most part revamped. Quest and new NPCs have been added; yes it is not the same Npulse of old and Thank God for that because it would have been taken down if it were.

So this brings me to my question for you, which phase are you trying to revive? And what on earth for? The first 2 would never be put online to start with and NO server remains private for very long under the current rules. Is this your exercise in futility?

After skipping both Moon God and Moon Goddess' posts i have this to say:

Old N-Pulse was made by the people, not the PW. It's physically impossible to bring it back, that's why when they brought back the old levels on the current N-Pulse it didn't change anything. Even when it had players.

If i sound rude to the moonies, i'm not.. Frankly i already know there's going to be a bunch of N-Pulse pride in it and Moon God never fails to amaze me at how he can bring philisophical crap into every post. That one of levels for Torankusu... that was just... disgusting is too strong a word. However, i've made my point that i'm not trying to repeat something they've said, but i'm not reading it.

All these silly people think bringing back "old" levels and servers will bring back the memories and the fun they had. WRONG! Unfortunately, the community which created those moments and memories is probably long gone. This is why Graal cannot reach its potential because too many people are stuck in the past and refuse to allow it to advance faster than it is currently.

Free servers are dead and the community from that period in time has dispersed. The chances of some of them returning are fairly remote; more like borderline impossible. Yes, I don't always want to embrace the future because of the change(s) it presents but I want Graal to become a better game. But that won't happen if players are not going to give up the past. This is part of what the anti-graal community wants back and why they are so persistant on trying to destroy graal. They think by doing that it will make their friends of old return when it probably won't.

The majority of the Anti-Graal community have moved on towards other games. Right now it's a one-man anti-graal crew that is left and eventually Unixmad will have Viper dealt with.

If anyone wants to live out the glory days, you could always go play on Unholy Nation. You'll find everything you want there and more!!!

Unfortunately, they held the misconception that they represented the will of Graal. Too bad for them that was and still is not the case

EoA .. (the NP Oldbie server) is nothing like NPulse, and they arent trying to make it like NPulse. And most of the people who work there arent SUPER OLBIES from the dawn of NP (Which I am one of).. Bliss and I can speak for eachother because we were some of the first to get on NP when it was opened.

Well, I for one would prefer that playerworlds abandoned long ago to not be brought back. It will just become an eyesore and its just an excuse for players who may have played there at some point in time have the power they wanted but were never given. There are reasons why those that don't have any kind of power is because they are not capable of showing that they are responsible with it. Of course, no one is perfect so we all are just as guilty in doing such things at some point in time.

But anyway, if these people actually want to have power and are willing to accept the responibilities with it, it would be best to locate current projects and help out or improve skills or range of skills so that they can be more useful

Not true, I always listened....I guess people needed visual (polls) evidence that I was listening.
Just because we dont use everyones ideas, dont mean we arent listening.
Everyone got mad and SAID we werent listening because they wanted old-Npulse back in its entirety (sp), which cant/isnt going to happen for obvious reasons.
Players need to start thinking about Graal as a whole, and what is needed to keep graal competitive, not the past and what they miss...bringing back old levels wont help graal make money, nor will it bring back the memories of the old days, they are memories, it will never be that way again, but it can be just as good if not better if people would just look to the future of graal. Work with us, not against us

But its clear that people want to relive thier memories and to obtain power that they were "denied" before. Too bad its not likely to happen

Also, why should PW owners always listen to what the players want, hmm? This is not to say that hearing what people want to be included or introduced is bad, but sometimes, its best to stick with a plan you've already got. That is pretty much my method and player suggestions will probably be ignored unless they would provide an overall benefit to the game. There will be some things available for players to control but not a whole lot.

I will say something in Moonies defense here, first off killing Staff with their tag on is a Jailing offense NOT BAN, after a documented warning is issued. You see something the players didn't know is I started a FTP log on offenses for all Players (long ago). These are saved by the month,year and gives us a permanent record of trouble makers, I did this because of the unreliable comments being erased all the time when they maxed out, FTP logs do not max out. This a a copy of one from last year.

lol, if I said I was going to "JAIL" anyone, it would have been because I had my tag on, and was being attacked while working...We dont ban for attacking staff unless it is just a constant thing....it is funny how you have to lie to make me look bad.
I pk alot, I love to pk, and have never told anyone to stop unless I was working, and had my tag on, and I have never told anyone to stop pking me on level3 (the main pk area).
Lying is a big waste of time, because you cant prove them

I recognize 5 accounts on there that was a part of the anti-graal
community. 3 were just active posters, and 2 were on the actual team.
The 2 that were on the team were GP's for N-Pulse.

As for Moonie threatening to ban for pking? lmao that's hilarious. I pk Moonie every chance I get, and she hardly ever has her tag on. She always fights back and has never threatened to ban me. I have been a pain in MG and MGess rear for the previous 2 years and never have they ever threatened to ban or jail me for pking them.
When she threatens to ban/jail someone during a pk fight it's
usually someone she killed that got mad and started cussing for no reason.

You're going to have to come up with something. Most people that have been banned for hacking has had to spend a month a more before being released after an apology.

Talk to MG and I'm sure he will discuss something with you.
