Here's The Plan...

What made Graal2001's fun factor soar was how there was something for everyone. There were the people who were into the economy and traded hats, worked, and saved up for a bomy-bopot. Then there's the PKers and people who fight, scam, and try to keep things unbalance. That balance is suppose to be unbalanced, so that the server doesn't become routine and boring! Kingdoms were abundant, there were plenty to choose from and also sub-kingdoms as well. People could roleplay, playerkill or partake in the economy. There was something for everyone. The server won't survive if there's not enough players and interest in the air. People need motivation to play or it isn't fun. It's pretty much common sense. There's not enough people online to hold big events or do major RPing. Back in the day, Kamuii would make a sticky of all the things to expect in the next month and it would give the players something to look forward to. I miss the old Graal2001 that wasn't yesterday's newspaper. It was also refreshing and fun gameplay! Bring it back, please.

- Bring back old bodies/HP system
- Update quests and add more
- Inventory system with menus and sub-menus
- More mini-games, exciting group events
- Balance out bomy-bopots/human features
- Balance PKing/Roleplaying/Economy
- Hire a Staff Manager to watch out for corruption
- Work on a new overworld, slowly add new content
- Write a storyline that connects the old Graal2001 and updated G2k1, introducing the new world and kingdoms, etc.
- Original ideas and developments

I'll address each of your points 1 by 1...

- Bring back old bodies/HP system

Must be just me, but I like the new hitpoints system. The bodies are okay, too. I really never liked the idea of little midgets running around pretending to be big. Sure, there were some bodies that most of us enjoyed, but for the most part I like the new bodies. Of course, I'm probably a bit of a rarity on that point.

- Update quests and add more

For what? What else can we have? We've got bows, we've got bombs, we've got swords, we've got a ton of hitpoints as it is. What else do you propose? I really don't see what else we can add that would be beneficial. Maybe some sort of magic ability, morphing, rings, necklaces like Googi suggested? But those aren't quests, well, except for maybe the morphing (do a quest to get an NPC that allows you to morph without paying 100 gralat) and the magic ability, though I once talked to Jeff about magic and he doesn't like it.

- Inventory System

Someone's got to explain to me the point of the inventory system; I sort of like our current inventory and think it works. The only update I could think of would be a customizable inventory; you can have all your items there, or perhaps create various sections for your items and arrange them the way you want? Just a thought so we could all have our items in the order and arrangement we want. I don't know, maybe that'd be a good idea.

- More Mini-Games

Just has to be me, but I never really played mini games. I never thought the point of the server was for mini games, but for more role-playing adventures and group quests, one thing I can agree with you there. I really thought that the objectives of Graal to make parents let their kids get the games is that it allows people to work together with other people. I'd like some more of that theme to continue, and I'm sure others would, so yeah, I like that idea. Maybe we could have a whole new quest where slowly over time each kingdom gets information about a secret Zalactic (sinking to the Zalactic solution for all level!) historical show, and together all of the kingdoms must work together to unlock the show? Then insert historial Graal 2001 figures explaining why we were put on this planet, what they did, etc.

- Balance Bomies and Humans

I must be the only one who thinks each race is fine the way they are. The bomies have some advantages and so do the humans. The bomies can't wear hats. Big deal. I don't see how they'd get it on their heads, anyway. I just like how everything works right now and I have no problem with being a bomy and no problem with being a human, though I do admit bomies have too few jobs to do.

- Balance Playerkilling, Roleplaying, Economy

Yes! This is the one area I like most. I'm sick of the senseless playerkilling. This server isn't a playerkilling server, and no matter what Jeff says to defend his point on that, I am sick and tired of the useless playerkilling, people waiting at unstick to mutilate you with their swords, et cetera. The economy is pretty well balanced, though role playing could be a bit better; perhaps in all kingdom areas role playing is mandatory or you get jailed?

Yes. (short and to the point )

Always good. Could be for something like minerals that you need to make some sort of new NPC.

I like my Q menu.

- More mini-games, exciting group events
Yes, but comming up with ideas for good mini games is difficult.

- Balance out bomy-bopots/human features
Bomies to need something like hats but it's gonna be difficult thinking of something so untill someone comes up with a good idea I doubt that's gonna happen. Shelling needs to have a time limit or make bomies take half damage, preferably the second option.

- Balance PKing/Roleplaying/Economy
It's not that bad. Yes it's easier for bomies to get started out but once humans have been going for a good while and have good tools they can make a fortune mining. Taking out shelling would help the PKing issue and the roleplaying I have no idea about.

- Hire a Staff Manager to watch out for corruption
Players report that. This just sounds like another I want to be staff I could be the *insert silly staff here*

- Work on a new overworld, slowly add new content
Updates are always good.

- Write a storyline that connects the old Graal2001 and updated G2k1, introducing the new world and kingdoms, etc.
Don't think this is needed. How would you fit it into the game?

I'm sure if they're given good ideas they'll make them, hopefully.

Those are two different areas. Bomies get too much HP, rapid attack, more damage?, and the shell. Thats fighting, they need to be evened out fighting wise.

Money wise, humans can get more, hats etc, thats where bomies need to be balanced out.

I always thought the old bodies were a lot more customizable. You could change your articles of clothing. It's just more limiting and you can't really attack with these new bodies.

You can always add more quests and adventures for the players to have fun with! I have plenty of ideas, but I'm not staff so why would I slave hours on end to help? No one has ever asked for it, anyways. Lemme see. There could be "RP Quest" that require players to collect artifacts, keys, or some sort of item that would lead to another area that pieces together the puzzle, each quest/adventure should be thought of as a short story that's unfolding. It could have something to do with the main storyline of the server or the surrounding world. I could contribute a lot of quest ideas if that's the problem. I'm sure a lot of players could as well.

Inventory system. Well, the Q Menu is fine. However, I always thought it would be neat if there was a way to select an item in your menu and somewhere there'd be a description with info on the item that shows you exactly what type of item it is and a hint to how it could be used. I mean, I have no idea how to play Gangpin and there's no directions that I know of. Being able to rearrange items and sort them to your liking would be very beneficial. I always thought "skins" would be a nice addition to the old menus.

The same with the quests. There could be a "Tug-o-War" event or something. Mini-games are just waiting to be made. I'd help with the idea development. I am not much of a scripter at all. I had a neat "Hide n' Seek" game planned out. Let us not forget "Bomy Battling" and the special arenas, paper/rock/scissors style of fighting. Updates, updates, updates!

There's certain elements that are missing from the game that would make it more balanced and enjoyable. Graal2001 looks the same way it did a few months ago. It would take more than a reset to get the wheels turning again.

Well I suppose that could be good.
Maybe make it so that when in the current Q menu if the mouse is over the item it describes it.
And Gangpin is just like guess the combination of the symbols. Red means the ones you have picked arn't in it. Blue means it's in the puzzle but in the wrong place in your guess. Green means it's right.

The same with the quests. There could be a "Tug-o-War"
Would be very D bashing no?
That's what we don't want.

That's what we don't want.
Actually, there would be teams on each side of the rope. When you push the arrow key the way you're pulling, you would be trying to be in sequence with your team. That way it would require timing.

Well, I may get my way and have the new new bodies of ultimate unseen doom, but then hopefully we'd have those bodies and the old HP system. The ultimate evil >:]

We will. We may make stronger swords or something, just whatever, more quests will be worked on.

We've been working on it, we're trying to find a good way to.

PKing isn't balanced YET from the race advantages. Roleplaying is fine, I say. THe economy is a little sided towards the rich people, so, mleh.

We'll probably keep the same overworld, just add WAY more stuff to it. Clear out those trees. But the overworld is was makes Graal Bomy Moon even relate to the old Graal2001 !

Maybe. Dunno if we need a storyline for a server more based on economy. If anything, there would just be a story behind the kingdoms and RPing.
