busyrobot is on a distinguished road
Overall I like the snapshot, just a few thoughts:

1: The reflection in the water, kind of looks like you are seeing down into the water, you may want to ripple that up a little or something... and I think the water color could be adjusted..The water itself has a texture that gives it a top-bottom repeater look, and makes it look like you are seeing something that does vertically. If it when across, then it may give it more of a horizontal feel.

2: The place were the cliffs go straight up/down look too straight.
The rock texture seems rocky, but goes completely straight flat from the side. I know this is because of the nature of tiles and false-verticals, but if you broke the grass up with the rock underneath along the top, that might help with the straightness thing.

3: Watch shadow intensity, every time you have a perceived angle, it's color value (shadow) will match anything else of the same angle elsewhere.

4: Shadow angles could be more unified.

I really like it though, looks like a playerworld I'd like to explore.

"Why, of course! It's just a name, like the Death Zone or the Zone of No Return. All the zones have names like that in the Galaxy of Terror."
