Nay. Making GBM a classic server will take away exclusive features from those who pay for Gold accounts.

Because on 2K2 you may be spontaneously reset and find your backup has been corrupted.

At least on 2k2 you have a tiny chance of being restored if you are reset.
Who is going to restore you on 2k1 if you somehow get reset?
I sure haven't seen Stefan on it in a long time.

First off, graal 2001 IS getting a major overhaul, it's just taking a long time.

Second off, you don't NEED to restore from backups, because it doesn't RESET YOU.

Third off, Graal 2001 isn't some lame MMORPG wannabe.

I agree with Chris because now all we are getting is 5-6 people on at a time but if it is opened up to people who have paid a year subscription then there will be a lot more people on.. and it seems that 2k1 is a lot more fun when a lot of people are on opposed to a few people being on.

Sorry, Googi.

We have no way of restoring accounts from backups. But then again, we don't usually have spontaneous resets, either

Oh, but Graal itself as a whole isn't a rip off of a very popular gameboy game? Hmm...

Loads of people play it when 2002 NPC Server is down, so its got something to it for gold servers. And making it free will reduce Gold Account value, also after people don't like 2002, they will return to 2001, and anyway, most people off 2002 will move onto the late 2003/04 projects that will probably happen as they do one every year, so its not that its no use anymore, just one is newer, so people find it more fun to tackel that.

Many people have been saying that you 2k1 has to do with prices? NO ONE PAYS TO PLAY 2K1... except for maybe the staff.

I myself would probably quit 2k2 if 2k1 was a free server and more populated, but it's a ghostserver now, NO ONE wants to play.

No. Our playerbase has increased substantially recently, now that they can see that we are actually WORKING on new things, and now that they know there isn't going to be a reset looming over their heads.

As for your statement that "NO ONE PAYS TO PLAY 2K1", all I know is I didn't upgrade to play 2k2, even when I wasn't staff. I disliked 2k2 from the beginning, but that's just me. Wait, it's not just me; there are a lot of other people who like 2k1 better than 2k2 (WHO AREN'T STAFF).

I've said this before, and I'll say it again- Wait until AFTER we have our own changes before even thinking of making it classic. You can't comment on its "current" situation, because when these projects get done, its "current" situation will have changed quite a bit.

No.
I agree with you on one thing. 2K1 IS BETTER THAN 2K2. But 2k1 is no longer populated with ANYONE. You people don't understand, its not the server that makes the server, IT'S THE PEOPLE.

All in all I could really care less about the Gold Servers. I hardly go on Graal as it is. I bought this account for the reasons that I wanted my own account, and that I wanted to continue posting here on the forums. But still, Graal Bomy Moon should stay a gold server; It has a lot of nice content, and it will get better.

Actually, the SNES version was on the Top 20 SNES titles from it's release until the SNES's demise.
