Arrow Remember Graal.

Graal used to be Fun.

I remember when we didn't have very many guilds,
and people would go crazy to try and get into one.

I rember when a guild war, would be a war, not a
"war".

I remember when people would spread roomers,
like the bank one, Where if so many people pulled
on the bank it would lift and all the monies would
drop out.

I remember when graal had to try many times to get
something right. They justed ****** it up more.

I remember when you could lag past a quest.

I remember when i was a newbie.

I remember the Java verson of graal, it kicked ass.(sorta)

I rember bugs where you could alter the scripts of some NPC's
when you held some buttons and clicked.

I remember when graal was fun.

Them where the good old days.

-I_Eat_Plastic

BTW:What do you remember?

I am perturbed that your fondest memories of Graal are of when it was easier to hack and cheat it. Godforbid a game should require you to pay attention and quest for your stats - clearly your favorite game is the one that involves a search engine and a trainer.

I remember when Krakken had a summer home by graal city where i got horses from I remember when i changed the size of the spike graphics from krakken's quest to be really small so i could get past them without fighting the crab. I remember having fun doing all the quests. I remember people killing eachother for moeny for angel clan heart. this was funny cus really if one person would drop the necessary money, the flag to get the heart would be set for everyone in the room. I remember having giant wars when i first joined LOG two summers ago, with Baddies etc

I remember the old days. The thing is, I don't remember anyone who claims to be from the old days (java).

Then I get this "well...i had a different name!!!", yet I don't remember that person either.

PEOPLE. YOU CAN NOT PRETEND THAT YOU ARE FROM A LONG TIME AGO. LYNDZEY REMEMBERS :]

Right, you can't pretend to be from a long time ago. And it's really easy to trip these people up because the idiots that think pretending to be a 1.0er makes them cool or something are the same idiots who say you may not remember them "because they only played on [Insert Dead Server Here]".

Graal is nothing like it was before though, nothing.
Personally I can't say what is better Past Graal or present Graal because they are like apples and oranges, the name and creator are all they share.

I dont remember exactly when I started... I wish I did... I do remember it was a version where you typed www.graalonline.com to get on classic. And the website was different. With that stupid little flash intro that was "liek 'da bomb!".

I wish I could remeber my old account when I played back then. I dont even remember my email adress. That account doesn't have very many hours on it but I guess I would still buy it if I could remeber the name. The email was something@netzero.net probally. Hmm I think my old netzero account was jarheadjo. I'm not sure, although. Yes, I'll stop rambling...

I joined when "Graal 2002" was just starting. I remember asking many questions. I remember not knowing why some names had an asterisk in the front, and I remember trying to figure out what all the various staff names stood for. Although, I'm still figuring some of those out. Yeah, so I suppose I'm a newbie .. or maybe a midbie. Someday I'll be a GK oldbie, though, hah.

I started when the graal.exe program made you put in a nickname and pick like a person or something...? There was like judge, thief, zora, etc. I started and was on classic and had no clue what in the hell I was doing. I looked like a bumblebee and was sad because I thought I would be a thief. I didn't know how to pm and wouldn't learn for about another two months. Not sure if PW's were out yet..I think so. So I went onto Elven Lands and played there for a long long time..until it closed down. I learned howto pm and stuff.

Concerning your comment about guilds: My goal is to get it to a VERY low amount of global guilds hopefully. That's why I'm tightening the rules. The only people who object (that I know of so far) are the Classic players, I feel that if you want a guild for only one server that's going to just be a pointless and idiotic group it should be a local guild, not global. I'll need to get the players to vote on this and get the proper authorities to approve before I start something so drastic but yeah I really want to do this.

That would be around the time accounts came back, about 1 1/2 year before version 1.4 (server list)

I still have 1.1 levels and the version 1.1. I play it sometimes just to get the old feel back ;]

i remember when:

The Hacked item Avelon Ring was around, and it shot fireballs and other things XD

I remember when UNDINE tried to be queen of graal (i have her account pass XD)

I remember when I wanted to be staff, until I realized how extremely currupted it was.

I remember the antics that mrbear preformed while GP on classic
(<3 mrbear)

I remember getting ban 3 times for just making a GP mad >=(

I remember when graal classic had 300 people on at the same time (now its like 300 in all the servers combined D

I remember sending the "PM of death" to everyone on graal, and seeing the playerlist go from 300 to 100, and then get 6243 PMs trying to do it back to me XD.

I remember putting in server IP addresses not selecting it from a list D:

Lyndzey pwns me
kthxbye <3

Personally I can't say what is better Past Graal or present Graal because they are like apples and oranges, the name and creator are all they share.
Apples and oranges don't share the same name, and the last time I checked they grew from different trees. But with all this G.E happening who knows where they come from nowadays.

I used to play on Bravo or Elven Lands being part of the guild BTK and we used to PK everyone and it was good fun, we ran the place. Mwahahaha...

I also remember being staff and having an item which layed out a ring of golden gralats, about $2000 worth each time, and running round on money scrambles. I also remember abusing my RC and changing people to wearing dresses, or changing them all to skin colour, ahh that was the life.
