Alchemy

Can someone explain to me what I need and what happens when I do alchemy?

Your gonna need:
Alchemy scroll (IDs items you make and ingrediants)
Alchemy spell
Cauldren

Basically you put stuff into the cauldren, use the alchemy spell on the cauldren then ID whatever item appears in the cauldren.
Sometimes nothing appears in the cauldren though.
I'm pretty sure that's where people are getting all the new armour etc.

Two random items, and good luck (along with low intelligence) makes for rare items.

Because then you're stupid and dont know what you're doing. You do get more rare items, but since you're so stupid, (the character :P) you also blow it up more often.

I was replying to AlexH, as he'd mentioned he thought that was were people were getting the rare things .. I was just clarifying it for him ..
