showimg\text hieght

I am having problems trying to get certain showimg\text commands to display the height corectly. I know i have to make he changeimgvis. But if both img's\text's are at 4 then how do i determin what is drawm higher?

There are several ways to make the showimg display at different places.

You do not need to use changeimgvis all the time. If it was a simple showimg index,img,x,y; then thats just what you do.

However, what I think you are doing, is changing the imgvis to 4. This is when the x and y co ordinates differ.

example:

//#CLIENTSIDE
if (playerenters){
showimg 1,egg.png,100,100;
changeimgvis 1,4;
}

This will show egg.png in the top left corner of the screen.

Another way of doing it is:

//#CLIENTSIDE
if (playerenters){
showimg 1,egg.png,screenwidth/2,screenheight/2;
changeimgvis 1,4;
}

This displayes egg.png in the centre of the players screen. screenheight + width only works when the layer is set to 4.

Also, showimg index, etc 0-199 shows images not local, above that it's local.

If you are confused about which shows over what then:
changeimgvis index,1;
will show under
changeimgvis index,2;

Also, you asked if both layers were set to 4. Well if you had a showimg 1 and a showimg 2 ... showimg 2 would be displayed on top.
