Is the PWA doing their job, or are the higher Admins doing it?

I have been aware for a long time now that Stefan is approving playerworlds, and now I hear that Ageloas approved one. Soon as a heard that from someone, I came on here to post about this.
I really think that Unixmad should compose a better system to handle the playerworlds. Stefan has to realize that the PWA does this, and not him just because he see's a few good things. That is how Gaia got up I guess.

(No offence to you guys, you had good Graphics and some nice npcs, some were buggy though).

Anyway, do you think its fair for them to be passing playerworlds?

Here's the thing, if they send it to Stefan it gets up ALOT faster. Instead of waiting a month, after it goes through all the PWA members, thent hey have to wait for stefan to put it up. IF they send it to stefan right away then if he likes it, then he puts it up probal within 3 weeks instead of waiting the 2 months for it to go through the PWA THEN stefan.

The problem was, is and always will be communication. If the PWA could talk to Stefan easily, and Stefan to the PWA, they could talk about stuff like that and would probably figure out how to share their duties

Gaia went straight to Stefan in Janurary when he approved it because it had good scripts. Because Stefan basically gave them a free ride, look what happened.

I'd also like to point out the following: Lots of times when someone asks Stefan to get their playerworld up he says "go send it to the pw tester test" (yay, at least he knows we're alive!). Other times, he lets it up without question. It's difficult to see the motives behind his random selections.

If you don't agree with this, then you can continue to play on the crap-playerworlds that are on line now (no offense.)

i wish stefan would leave the playerworld reviewing up to the PWA team...
maybe then only GOOD servers will be put up....

PWA should do it.
There is far more important things Stefan and the higher admins can do.
PWA is there for a reason and I think people seem to forget that.

Agelaos was actually hired before Nemesis.

We need a better staff page...Stefan shouldn't be accepting PWs save through the PWAs, but nobody knows who the PWAs are if they even exist, and telling me here is neither going to be an official declaration nor will it be true or updatable...eventually one or more PWAs will quit and be replaced, just the circle of staff...

well one thing that makes me mad is when people complain about crappy servers but the servers they work on are actually crappy. So why not stop this whole BS about the crappy line of PWs (toran) because it's obviously not helping, seeing as how ****tier PWs are going online. In fact, I dont really understand what the PWA does anymore except for mod the forums.

Gaia was accepted way back in Janurary as a private server byt Ageloas, Stefan told me so.

Now Stefan wants to create a new policy, letting servers that pass only up for a few weeks (2-3) to get their scripts straightened out then released. However, it's awfully difficult to do that when you accept servers and 10 months later they are released because they idled and did absolutely nothing while they were online.

You really need to stop saying this. Not all the PW's online are crappy, and alot of them have busted their rumps trying to make them better. You should really keep your "bashing" opinions to yourself. Yes, some of the servers need work, and those servers that just sit there doing nothing may need to come down, but for you to post that all the PW's are crappy, is wrong

I agree, toran is kinda saying that alot. Toran you should not really be saying that about all the servers. They do alot of work and the quality is not so great, but most servers attract alot of players.

Moon Goddess is right, maybe because what is currently up doesn't like great, some of us are trying hard to add new stuff (SL is, but we have a serious lack of scripters) and I know that N-Pulse is always adding new things. I also must add that NP is a good server, and Delt didn't seem so bad from what I've seen of it. And Era will be a decent server seeing as though its going to become Graal Theft Auto

But, most of you complain and complain about the servers..yet, most of you only get on for about 30 minutes a week and don't even see the work that some of the servers are working on..

Mais, I do agree some just have to go..Faheria should at least open up like 10 levels or something to show SOME content like Era is..Its been closed since I've started playing Graal over a year ago, and to my knowledge a long time before then also

Uh, they only attract players because those are the "only playerworlds online." What's important here is raising quality to bring in new players

I posted my quick-review in the other thread addressing all online playerworlds. Bashing or not, it's a part of my job to express my opinion with set guidelines. Get used to it. I've been doing it for a while now.

And by saying "crap-playerworlds online," I wasn't calling all playerworlds online crappy. I was grouping the actual 'crappy' ones into a category. The ones that don't make the cut don't stay. That's the way it is, or should be.

An Account Admin/Manager cannot have any other job except for the accounts job because it takes up too much time. Nemesis should have told Agelaos this when he was rehired.

If he's on the team, which he's not, he would not just review "one" playerworld. He would also be given a portion of the playerlist to moniter over...That's time consuming.
