Post Important Topic, please take time to read everyone, Especially Stefan and Unixmad

How many of you remember graal 1.39? And the other versions? What is different about them than the today game. Well the answer is not just newer, but it was more fun back then. You could go on a server and play against 20+ people. Now it seems as if the most you can play against is 20. The reason for this you ask? Well Graal attracted alot of the younger audience to play, so when the game started charging a fee the kids sometimes could not pay. I understand the main server should be charged, because they have to get a little money to maintain the game. I just miss it when we could all just play the game and not have to worry about paying. I mean, think about all the guilds and everything we used to have. Today guilds consist of maybe 5 people. Where is the fun in that? No guild battles? No nothing? No Graal? It is really sad, I liked this game. There have been many falls in the game, as in the hackers intruding playerworlds, etc. But along with that many good things have happened also. Dont get me wrong, Developers of Graal Online did do somethings right, but this by far is the worst. Everquest is a game for adults, that is why they are successful in this attempt. Stephane Porthe and Stefan Knorr, please take this into consideration. If you do not, you might lose Graal Online altogether. More and more people quit the game everyday.

If $15 dollars for lifetime access to Classic Graal is too much, then I don't know what to say for you people. Sure, you can easily argue that you'd rather spend $15 on something else, but $15 is $15; a rather cheap sum, I think. But face reality, running Graal's servers aren't free, and Stefan and Unixmad don't make this game for their health. What they do ask for though for full access to Graal $40 isn't a bad price either. $40 can also be easily saved and that $40 gives you a year of access to Graal. By the time that suscription is up, you could easily scrounge up another $40 if you chose to continue your suscription.

Not everyone can save $40 you say? Then they should earn it if they want to play this game so bad. Kids shouldn't be given money by their parents because they simply cannot afford to play Graal. The people who still actively play Graal (mainly in the Gold Servers I can speak for) have had no problem getting the money to play Graal, and I am still puzzled as to why $15 seems TOO much for those who play in Classic/Playerworld Graal.

The money Graal Online is making right now does NOT cover the expences they must pay. Stop your whining.

If it doesn't cost money, how do you expect them to keep the servers up and running?! Advertisements won't cut the cheese.

Graal is amazingly cheap compared to other MMORPGs.
Some charge you $10+ for a month, Graal is $15 a lifetime.
So expensive, if you can't afford that how the hell do you have a computer?

Fair enough there was more people when it was free which created a larger community but this is reality. The servers don't pay for themselves. Stefan and Unix have to get the money from somewhere. It's not cheap running servers 24/7 you know.

Also the lower playerbase is why we should remove a few of the servers and work on maybe two or three of them. This way we would have a small amount of great classic player worlds instead of a large amount af "avarage" player worlds.

Look, it'd be nice to have all our old servers and stuff back but the people are right, I was able to make 40 bucks in one weekend of lawnmowing when I was like 12, kids under this age aren't allowed to play anyways, and kids over it have an even EASIER time getting the money, if Graal doesn't mean enough to you to work for then I guess don't play :;shrugs::

Well, actually, that is an incorrect analogy.

This is going to get nowhere. Graal is an extremely cheap online rpg when compared to others.

If people don't want to support Graal and pay 15 dollars to play the classic servers, they don't need to be here. I'm sure there is no one here that could not pay 15 dollars. That's like less than you spend eating lunch at school for a week. That's like a large pizza and soda's. That's like 1/4th of a videogame. That's like 3 movie rentals.

I mean seriously, there is no point in making Graal free, unless you just like seeing Graal fall into a pit of despair. If Graal is free, nobody could afford the servers, and they would be taken down, and there would be no Graal. Sorry, but I'm closing this topic unless someone finds a reasonable and legal way to provide free Graal without Graal losing money.
