Health Meter Gone Bad.

I was in the post office chatting with Chibi and Rahz, and then, as we were exchanging bows, POOF, I die. No explanation at all.

I have come to the conclusion that it was most likely death by starvation .. but I have a BIG problem with this. When you start losing health, normally your health bar appears above your head, showing the damage. This did not happen, because if it had, one of the three (at one point four) of us would have noticed.

You can't tell me that this was my carelessness .. sure, in a way it was, but honestly .. why would I be looking to the top right of the window when all of the focus is where my character is, chatting? I look at my health and all of that when I'm fighting, not talking with people.

If there had not been a problem with the health bar, this would NOT have happened. I lost over 30,000 experience, and two stats. I would like this to be fixed.

I know something was recently changed with the health meters, and I have seen bugs already (health bars with no health, but the player has full HP, pieces of the bar stuck in mid-air when a monster walks away from it). This is just another example of a bug.

Please do something to fix this, eh? I'm so sick of dying. This must be at least my fifteenth time dying with this character, and this is my most powerful I've ever had. Basically, I died because of a bug .. you can argue that's not the reason, but I feel it is. I just hope Stefan agrees with me on it.

On a final note, I've attached a picture to show you what I saw right when I died. Obviously, I was in the middle of talking..

How long did you wait to take that screen shot after you died?

That would of been his last restart position, because he must of unsticked and went to Bomboria, beside that cannon. Then walked to the post office. You restart at the last saved position. :O
I am also have trouble with the health bar. only it only shows the inside, and not the gold border around it that was normally there before this new version.

So that was what you was mumbling about today :P I give someone an amulet of sustenance and they give it to someone else and die :P oh well... anyways the death I had today probably won't be undone either, and it wasn't my fault at all... stupid create missile spell made me kill myself when I was on peaceful and now my character reset too... ((see bugs forum for more info on that problem)) Anyways I'm sorry that you died, I noticed the health thing too, they need to get that fixed... badly

As soon as I died, I jumped and hit ALT+2. It was pretty much right after I died.

Well .. I'm going to wait to see what Stefan says about this first. If he says he won't restore me .. then I won't complain, I'll just get back to work.

Until he does give me an answer, though, I won't be on Graal much.

Well .. she needs it more than do I .. you see, the thing is, I have minor and medium healing, so as soon as I would see that my health was beginning to deteriorate, I would jump up, run outside, and start killing shell bomies, using the healing spell when necessary to stay alive. ...but because the health bar didn't show, I didn't realize I was dying .. so I couldn't have done that.

I should get restored first, I only lost a 2000 plat sword, it shouldn't be too hard to restore me...

The way I figure it, just hold on to the sword. Once the spell is truly implemented, you can get it back .. but that may be a long time, and it may be better to be restored .. but there's a problem. Only Stefan can restore, and there is a lot else that he must do...

Have konidias be able to restore, He doesn't seem like the kind who will be corrupted by the power, well easily (all humans have flaws...)
