How bout just one of them hits the monster it takes less mana though, you select a target meaning click on the monster it will show an arrow on top of it then you cast the spell and it go to that monster and hit it.This balances out the melees and the wizards.

That would work well for some spells, like magic missile, but other spells aren't designed for that. What you're saying is that each monster .. gets it's own little snowstorm? That's sort of silly.. at any rate, it wouldn't make anyone any happier, because the sorcerers would just cast it multiple times, and get, basically, the same effect as before.
