It seems like noone wants to join. Can anyone give me any help or any pointers on what to do? I try to mass and promote it the best I can...but 3/4 of the server is in Dustari :[

Step 1: show all the other kingdom's who's boss (beat them in wars, rp events, etc etc etc.)

I dunno. It's a new kingdom, don't worry about it. When everyone sees how cool we are, they'll come around.

Aftershock gives a basic test on RP and OOC/IC. Its not like we just recruit everyone.

Something should be worked out so that all the kingdoms have roughly the same amount of members.
Having the majority of members in one kingdom and the rest having few members makes roleplaying terrible.

You guys are so ignorant

1) Dustari has always been the largest, and just because you cannot change that you don't need to act all bitter.

2) I make everyone take a test, they need to know OOC, IC and RP, and they need to write me an IC sentence with actions if possible.

3) I have NEVER mass recruited, people ASK ME TO JOIN and I give them the test, then they're in.

It's no wonder little kingdoms are trying to pick fights with us, because they've got nothing to lose.

People have been complaining for ages, and it's not going to stop. If you want, I'll gladly dig up some dirt on other kingdoms and their poor role-playing abilities too. Most of you have a terrible mindset of how role-playing works and that's why you fail to realize why the OTHER KINGDOMS AREN'T AS POPULAR.

I can't help it if the other kingdoms have bastardish control freaks who only want the Utopian style role-players into their elitist group. Maybe you should learn a thing or two about socieities and kingdoms before you go yapping your mouth off.

No.. then we have the people who wanted to join Dustari in another kingdom and they spy, backstab, and commit crimes in the name of Dustari.

There are no trees on the forest island yet

I think the island needs more trees, and better ways to be reached, and some cool looking and things, don't know
We can also limit the players count in kingdoms by letting them pay for joining, the same for building houses.

No-ones complaing about how people recruit members it's just that some kingdoms have lots of people whereas others have very few.
This is where the NPC kingdom members comes in handy for battle due to the majority of people joining Dustari.

Taxes will not deter Dustari's large numbers, I'll find a way to get around it. The larger the income, the more revenue it produces, therefore the revenues can be diverted to pay for peoples entrance.

Get a few key members then spread your influence.
Bakugun wasnt doing so well but I got some good members and now sometimes we have alot of people on!

OK i wanted to join forest you guys NEVER have ur tags on so i joined samurai instead try and have group activities like we do just dont be a kingdom be a fun group explore have sport events stuff like that make it more enjoyable

Umm... Me, Brad, and Outpost wear our tags all day. I'm sure there are others. But you cant have all of the Forest Members online all the time. When we get more people then there will be more tags.

Brad only does that off tag. On tag Forest members are REQUIRED to talk correctly and relavent. Unlike the other kingdoms where they let their members talk "internet slang" or what ever you want to call it.

No, see, if you want to RP you learn by watching other RPers. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how to do it. I mean, look at Hollywood. Acting is more or less the same as RPing, and look at what *****s so many actors are!

You need to be online often, and give some people the power to recruite new members, then I am sure you will find new members. Right now I only get requests of people who want to leave the kingdom but can't because only the king can remove them (will be fixed later today) and they can never find him. There are many times when there are no Dustari/Pirates/Samurai people online and you could convince people joining Forests. Introduce special Forests kingdom events and activities etc.
