This council is extremely flawed, like I first posted, and Graal will be at the mercy of the mobs on Classic. I DON'T want Graal to be running the mob! You don't see how easy it is for them to go courrpt, especially when you're voting for who will be the most capable of carrying out the task. The only thing the council will do is ruin the game.

However, if this folly and stupid concept is implemented into Graal, I'll go out on a limb and be a hypocrite. I don't want the mob to run Graal, so I urge some of you mature people to try out and run for this council. It will be nothing but a big bureaucratic useless "decision making" ogilarchy, so we might as well fill it with smart people.

That was probably one of the most honest things I've heard someone say on these forums....I applaud it and well it's good to know people aren't exactly out for positions on graal...Atleast reading that made me think more about more people who will benefit graal in a positive manner

Yes, it is something very rare Nemesis, I wish all the players would be like that and take after people like Kai, who set a little bit of an example to younger and/or older players.

sorry but most the people that actually would want to do it, are probably just doing it for the power. Because any normal person, who wasn't a power hungry idiot, know how much work this will actually require.

As a member of this society in which I have chosen to participate in, I thought we'd have a bit more autonomy in the decision that take place. When I say this it may sound a bit hypocritical (because of course the council "gives" us power) but it has the potential to fall into the hands of idiots. Unixmad never mentioned about how to remove a corrupt council member, one who serves the interest of only himself and his elitist values and the group he can relate for only. Therefore, I didn't "deserve" this government, nor did I want it, I perfered the laissez faire approach, things were going fine as they were.

And I don't know what Unixmad is planning, especially now that we have 5 gm's, how is the council going to dictate the grievances of the people to the GM's?

Ibonic, Alk, Nem and Koni are the ones I know oh James... One and if nessary, two should have been the MAX. Any more and Unixmad is making a poor decision, or the Current GMs cannot do their job alone, and that Unixmad is making a bad decision. :O

Nemesis told me and Koni said this in that thread in the Graal2002 Main Board, about Harassment.
"I will be GM for 2k2 soon, and I will make sure that the rules are enforced well."

My suggestion:

Stefan and unixmad are the "owners"
There is a Game Master who controls everything that stefan+unixmad are too busy to handle.
There are 2 managers, Classic Manager, and Gold Manager. The Classic Manager handles everything with Classic servers, while Gold handles Gold Servers.
The council is composed of people who are already high staff, such as Nemesis, myself, Agelaos, etc. This way, we wouldn't bring on more corrupt people. If someone here has a problem with the higher people, we can easily discuss it in our council or wiht are GM/M (Managers), and they will handle it.
