Rolling-Bad

Rolling is so annoying and boring and real dumb... choosing your stats like valikorlia was cool and like other games have choosing why not let people who play the game get to choose something there selves...

The stupid part is that the total stat value is completely random. So on one roll the total stats might equal 99 and the next roll the stats could total 115. Which is ridiculous.. they might as well have like 100 or something and you can just adjust to what you want. If certain things need to be capped (have a limit) then by all means, cap them.

Hmm. I don't know how I feel about the system. On the one hand it's not much fun rolling again and again until you get a good set of stats. But on the other, it allows dedicated players to invest lots of time and get a good character as a result. Because isn't that what almost all MMORPGs are about? Investing time to improve your character.

Stat placement lets you improve your character the way you want. Rolling doesn't. Magic users really get screwe by rolling because they don't get enough stats in the right places.

Stat placing takes less time and allows players to place their points in the places they need to go. Like today I failed an expensive spell because I didn't have enough int...I didn't get to choose my int either...

I also think when you lvl you should get to place your stats and not have them randomly added. I have way to much hp and not enough mana...

Yeah but when you are born do you get to choose you qualities and downfalls? I dont like stat placement because it gives everyone the advantage because everyone is going to end up placing their stats in the same places and then they will do it in such a way that it will make it easy for them to be able to do the things needed to raise their other stats and become a super duper fighter man. I like random rolling because it makes it so each and every character is unique, and due to that fact each and every character has to work differently to improve the things they arent so good at. random stat rolling is better for RPing, if it is taken out we are going to see bunches of people with virtually the same stats, and the charatcers are going to end up being seperated into few groups, and there will end up being like 3 or 4 stat variations and no one will be unique. and its your fault if you waste time trying to become imortal. You know I maybe spent 3 minutes rolling for stats, and my guy isnt the greatest in the world I just worked from what I got, and meanwhile while you are wasting time trying to be a superhero from the start by getting superb stats, I worked with what I had and got better and I am level five. So hey maybe you will spend hours and end up with a level 1 super stat character, but you would have been better off just taking something that was good and not great, and gone and raised levels and stats. now I know that wasnt the greatest grammatical composition ever so deal with it :P

I like stat rolling too but what pisses me off is those who do wait 3 hours for 20 in everything, its not fair that some roll around for 20 all the time, perhaps when you roll you get a set amout, like konidias said, everyone gets 100 perhaps, but they don't get to allocate them, this way everyone will be balanced, no-one will be too much stronger than the others, but even this system has its downfalls...

Level up using magic to gain mana, if you level up overall you gain HP, if you level up with physique you get +1 WC.
