For the most part, math just expands your problem solving capabilities and teaches you indespensable logic. Or something like that, anyway I'm in survey calculus now. I wasn't good enough to stay in the honors program so now I'm in the "advanced but not cool enough to get a bonus on our gpa" math class.
My school district doesn't have as many levels of advancement as other schools I've heard about. We can only be one year ahead of the average class. That doesn't mean that we don't have seniors in pre-algebra though...
