Bile isn't nice

I am a warrior with 13 wisdom, 3 grace points and worships Bile.
I bought a wand and a prayerbook of cause light wounds, I learnt it and cast it and when I used my wand it said "Bile ignores your prayer" Is this a bug or does bile not let you cast harmful spells, is is because of my stats, if so please give a solution and/or a suggestion on a spell I may be able to cast given my Bile worship and stats, thank you.
edit: The spell is sp (spell points?) 8 and ev 1, whatever they might mean.

i think Mabey that I need more spell points to cast it, can anyone recommend a lv1 priest spell that needs 3 or less spell points to cast?

Bile ignores your prayer cause your grace points are so low.
Keep casting it repeatedly, eventually it will work.
Then, use the praying skill repeatedly to bring it back up to the max, cast again, kill monsters, gain exp, repeat.

When you level wisdom, the exp catagory Praying is in, you will gain more max grace.

I tried casting it for a full 5 mins and nothing happened, I need to know a priest spell capable of use with only 3 grace points, to lv up to use cause light wounds.

Okay, you obviously don't know what grace is.

With low grace, you won't cast spells. It regenerates to half(?) your grace points. To increase it beyond that point, you need to pray (/use_skill praying)

My max grace (the blue bar) is 3, I'm a warrior, not a priest, I just need a lv1 spell that can be cast with 3 grace points.
