Gaining Plat

There should be way to gain fair amounts of platinum doing a certain job for an NPC. Mining is **** for making money, and doing errands for people is alright :-/ but its not a stable job to have like everytime your on...

How does everyone else make plat?

Well now that drops are determined at respawn of monsters you don't have to wait for the server to restart to get a drop. Mandrake Roots dropped by Battle Potatoes sell for 14 platinum. Keep killing Battle Potatoes and you will be rich in no time. Thats what I recommend doing.

yes now that drop rates are fixed like no one has a problem with starving, and less mass messages about stupid ****.

well, wheres a good place to hunt battle potatoes?

They seem kinda rare

well... dont just kill battle potatos.... if you have woodsman skill... you can kill some mushrooms while you hunt potatoes and get some mental exp identifying mushrooms... might even get some weird mushrooms

Look on the main island.

Seriously, just wander around the edges of towns. And I found several on the eastern side of Mt. Antora one time.

i totally agree with mint, ffusion: you say youll get rich in no time and its like a 1 in 20 chance to get a mandrake root....
plus: even if you do get like 30 mandrake roots how is that going to help getting somthing thats 32k plat?
