I strongly think a good Book system is needed for Graal. I think it would be a good way to increase player knowledge and wisdom.
A player walks up to a book, he opens it (with a cute gani) and an image of an open book fills the screen, you can flip pages using the arrow keys (the pages fliping is animated and has neet sound effect) and you can read stuff.
I'm sure alot of players would love the opertunity to write books and get them uploaded into the world.
You could use a color system to show what type of book is it aswell, for example a blue book would be a spell book and increase knowledge and magic, a brown book would be a history book and increase wisdom, a green book would be a player submited book of no importance (increases inteligence very very little.) a red book would be a religious book (similer to modern day bibles etc.) etc.
For history, the past and events of kingdoms could be recorded, along with religious things from the Gods. This would add more depth to the Graal World, and ultimately make new players feel like they really thrown into a massive world with a strong past.
Basicaily it gets the imagination going; what every good RPG SHOULD do.
