Odyssey "Offline"

It's Odyssey Offline right now.

I have decided to tell some ideas and show more screenshots so that people would be more intrested in working with us. So please enjoy.

We are still looking for Graphic makers, by the way. We need someone who can make some nice bodies, not like those new crappy ones, but old ones. Right now I am looking for an Elf body. And I think that may be the only body we will need.. I have started making Elf heads, just by sharpening / redrawing the ears on some other heads to make them look elfy.

Ideas:
- Islands
There will be 3 islands you must go through before you can reach the final island and battle Horadun. To progress between islands, you must buy a ticket to use a boat to the next island. Each ticket, except for the last ticket on island 3, will cost 100 rupees. The last one will cost 1,000 rupees. There will be certain jobs for each island, like Firestia island, which is the Forest island, will be lumberjacking. The main island, Odyssey, will probably be Fishing. The third island, Disertia, which is the Desert island, will be rock breaking. Each job fits the area it is in.

- Hospitals
When a player dies, he awakens in the nearest hospital. The Doctor has fixed you, and demands you pay for his service. If you don't have the money (which would probably be around 15 rupees) You have to go into the hospital yard and work until you gain the money. You can't work in the hospital yard to gain more then the price of fixing you.

- Story
There is a very nice intro plus ideas for the story. When you select your class (Elf, Human, Dwarf) You will then go into the intro. When the intro is over, you start adventuring! At the end of each quest or mini-quest, you will see Horadun.. Or a form of Horadun like a hologram message. It will probably be fixed and thought out as soon as the quests are made..

- Temples
There are about 3 Temples on each island. At the temples, Elves can go to pray to the gods to learn new skills or get weapons to defeat Horadun at the end. Humans and Dwarfs cannot learn anything, only Elves.

- Classes
Elves can learn skills and gain weapons by praying to the gods. Humans can weild a shield and a sword, and Dwarfs weild a strong ax and no shield. Elves weild a Bow and stab with arrows for close combat.

I see this is a popular thread, many people have viewed it.. But why doesn't anyone want to apply for a job? Or atleast post comments or compliments. You could say "Wow, thats a good idea" or "Hey, that sucks" but any reply at all would make me happy. I have a feeling people are ignoring me

it sounds like fun to me, but by offline we mean that this isnt going to be more then just you? because if its not im not sure how it'll work...sounds like a good plot to me though.

Its Odyssey Offline because it isnt Online yet.
And the minimap looks empty because I don't update it.

And the ears are like Elf ears, some more heads are going to be elferized too

So when you die, you get warped to a hospital? That could be a hassle. Unless it's strickly an RPG server. Maybe have a Pk Arena, so people can PK there and they don't have to visit the hospital when they die.

If someone PKs another person, they shouldn't just pop back from nowhere.. Thats what makes hospital a good idea. If you kill someone, they dont just hop right back up and start attacking you again.

At the begining, make it so that wizard does somthing and you get powers to come back to life. So when you die, you have an excuse to why you comeback quick.

Hahaha taz ýou can PK @ Classic or UN, this sounds fun though, its not like Valikorlia or Classic, its a new kind of server, great!

Thanks I'm going to work my best on it.
I have helpers like screen_name and Jagen
plus a couple of my own staff, and sometimes,
konidias says how I can improve my graphics.

Corupt: I would have recommended the same thing but ya beat me to it the map looks small unless your gonna have a lasting story and hopefully soemthing else as for the boat place be smart put it in a bay.. is this gonna have a story or can you just run up in the temples and start killing shlt?

It would probably be easy to do only certain Elf heads.
The map is 100 levels, the Forest map (second island) is 100 levels, and the Desert map (third island) is 50 levels.. Plus the last island will probably have like 9 levels :X

There is no website, because one isnt needed at this time

stfu, and i talked to screenie every day i could, and i have been gone because i am moving you *****....and besides, what did you do, made like 10 tiles of the tileset and then showed stuff that sucked and wasnt all cira baen tileset on the forums, when you were told not to. I cant do anything until the tileset is done, levels are what i am good at, and until then i am doing everything i can for the server, juss ask screenie, u *****, and besides, you are GM and i am head GM now, so shaddap, all you do is take tons of staff jobs, and dont stick with one thing, and now ur making ur own server, lmao....
