Shaded Legend, 2.0.

Shaded Legends has been In the Dark for quite some time, not having done much, I was hired as Dev Admin about 3 months ago, and Since then Started working on SL2.0 as I dubbed it, It will be a Whole new server, Completely different system, Medi-evil timeset, like Shaded Legends WAS to start with, RP-style health system, Class system and Such.

We will have 3 Classes, I won't say much about this "new" server, but It has been in Planning for about 7 months and after 3 months I have emerged with the beta section of the map, The levels have very little to go over.

I want you all to understand that all the Idea's were original, with a little influence on my levels from BirdBird, But thats just levels wise, and they are ALL original works, The systems and Classes planned are original, But I don't Want to release the Idea's as of yet because we don't want them stolen, So instead I will post the map, as it stands today.

I am more than open to comments, but I don't want just plane non-constructive negativity. (Which I am more than likely to get anyway)

Note Those Screenshots are a few weeks old, The lighting effects have been worked with a lot since then (draw height was shitty), and I believe #4 is TOTALLY different since I re-did it.

I think their months old hehe but I still like them. Keep up the good work but I do have a suggestion on the levels. Try to cut down on the massive detail of the same tile over and over. It can tend to look ugly. Vary your tiles up more often to make it look nice. Plus I think this has been mentioned before but with that tileset half grass looks bad. So try to use the full 2 tile grass

Oh yes, Anything beyond the blue-and-black area's will not be released for the Beta.

The mountain on the right will be worked on, and completed as a forest dungeon.

Also Here is the Top 3 levels Of the Caves, In the middle mountain, there will be 4 - 5 levels underneath these 3, that will expand across the map, 1:1 Scale.

As I said, Old Screens Back then Dual Swords was a powerup, Now it is a passive skill. The gani's are pretty dodgy as I made them, they need a little bit of work. ;o

Looks great, when i was there it didnt have all that detail on the mountain...but the caves are pretty hard to walk through >.<

LoL That looks great. I will definately play there. One suggestion I noticed about your ap, mp, and hp bars.. the more you have it grows *down*.. that doesnt seem right. I suggest you fix that, it confuses me. :P

That GUI was made by me, The worst artist in the history of man, and in like 2 minutes, and the script too like 5 mins.
Anyway It was just a quick make up thing, I decided it takes up too much room, so I was thinking of making a dragable GUI, Like mini windows, have it minimize, Maximize etc. Like Winamp, I've scripted the drag/drop thing, And was just wondering weather people would like that or not, But hey ;o

Its good that there hasn't been any pointless insults.

All of your levels have had to be fixed up in one way or another, your insides in a particularly major way, the bar is pretty much the only untouched one.

I'm quiet surprised. When Haste told me he was going to post pictures and everything of SL 2.0 on the main forums I told him to expect negative feedback. I'm happy that the hard work that haste has put into the overworld is being appreciated.

Theres alot of stuff being planned. Expect RP Events as well as possible kingdoms (not like 2k1's). The RP's will affect the whole world. But I'm not going to go into detail or share anything that I shouldn't. Well lets just say, the world well be...ever changing.

As some of you know, SL was my home server...back in late 1999, I started going there, and liked it from the start...I'm not sure if SL changing will be better or worse...I can assure it won't be the some ol' throwdown NPC-PK server, no...but with a class system and everything, maybe everything won't be as boring...I hope SL 2 comes soon... <3

Try to think of this as RP, not strict, Vali is a strict rp and the staff break all the rules, which ruins the RP for everyone, I don't mean to beef on Vali, I like playing there anyway, but its rediculous when the "prince" of a kingdom *cough* frost *cough* pks you then is all like "don't pk me or i will get you jhailed*"

Anyway, Set your Expectations high... not too high, high enough so its still possible, but expect better than any other RP-style server currently running. >.> Except 2k2 (But i dont like the 3d anyway)

RPing on SL won't be enforced. Those who participate can/might have a affect on the world though. It all depends on what the event is and where it all goes.

Yup, it has been done numerous times before, Er1c made one on the onlinestart for ToT, And I made a little clock in the corner on a system that I trashed a long time ago. It would be better if there was some way to draw single pixles / lines / and shapes instead of showinf 20000 little pixels... =

Well, Stefan told me he'd make something like that for my 3D thingy. Maybe we'll see it in the next version.
