Yo PW Management may you trash some servers that have like 1 person on it?

this will never happen, but i want to say....

SL has probably the best tiling i've ever seen. It's consistant throughout all the levels...if they just had some decent NPCs, I'd play it.

You're an idiot if you think thats what is causing the lag on other Playerworlds.

Lag is due to poor scripting to many lighting effects images in a level etc... Considering the there was over 300 players at peak times on classic and there was alot more player worlds. Over all through out the other servers wasnt bad at all when there was decent scripting and not hundreds of players on. Not to mention if you had half a clue you would have realized that some of it is due to the NPCServer. Not other playerworlds.

The servers i named have a npc server and their just their to waste money or something! Stefan pays around 500$ for every server a month! taking those 3 down will let stefan save around 1500$!

You're truly an idiot. You think SL had only 1 person on it? Before p2p it averaged 35 people, and could reach like 50 people everyone once in a while.

I dunno how to get the point across but:

SHADED LEGEND IS ONE OF THE BEST DAMN SERVERS ON GRAAL.

Pluss those other 3 servers you mentioned...they don't have 1 person on them, they have the NPC server on LOL

Do yourself a favor dont speak. You're only lowering every ones opinion of you. The NPCServers only effect the server it is on. Not all servers you twit. Example the 2k2 server has 0 effect when it comes to lag on all other servers.

Whoever told you this, was horribly, horribly wrong.

How do you find so much false information?

if each server costs 500 dollars per month, that would mean stefan needs 1000 people to uprade an account each month, just to cover server costs.

SL does get a decent amount of players for the state that it is in, just that most of the time it only has 5 to 10 players on. We are STILL waiting for NPC Server on it, and the server is going to get a totally new map and everything once SL2 is finished, so forget everything about the current Shaded Legend map...But they still need the NPC Server, scripting is the only thing that needs to be done :grrr:

Ok let me educate you. The playerworlds are in groups on multiple servers, like 4-5+pw's per server or whatever. If there is no one on the playerworld, it isn't wasting space or causing lag, because no bandwidth is being transferred.

Stefan could add 50 pw's and it wouldn't cost him any more money.

Everytime I go on there I see 5 people bushwhacking each other. :/
Apparently there's only 3 hearts and nothing much to do other than that. Um. Wait you start with 3 hearts. I guess nothing at all, except for events.
Only thing I like on there is the GUI thingy's they got made.

Also SL is under no construction, and Hasn't been since I became In charge of development about 4 months ago, However we are developing a whole new server (Not to go as a new server)
The project was planned about 7 months ago >.> (yes a long time) but nothing really ever happened until I started, now we got almost all levels done, we decided that having an NPC-Server would be benificial about a month ago, and we are still waiting, so we can start to actually work on Scripts properly. (Any PW Inspectors wanna see SL2 (or NewSL as its also known) just pm me or one of the managers)

Edit: And yes, the pw's are hosted only on a few servers (I'm pretty sure its like 4 - 6 per server, depending on how many people run on that server (ex UN Classic and Val might be on 1 Server, where as DD Babylon Frolic Enigma SL and Faheria might be on 1 Server too.) Each server has a max bandwidth, more players means more bandwith used, if there is more bandwith used then less pws can fit on the 1 server.)

Do not make stupid threads like this, it will only lower people's opinion of you.

Those servers that get 1 player a day are UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They are being worked on and seem to be making lots of projects. If you want to attack a server, at least find out the whole story before making a thread like this.
