Pixilated World: Idea

Heh, some ofyou might have seen my presentation of "Heart Land" anyhow, you found out it was a joke =( Oh well. (I deleted that Thread) Anyhow Idea is still an idea. Why was there never created a pixilated 2D world? I mean it won't be bad. It'll be like Mario or something, where you jump and stuff. I think people would come, scice it's not counted as an actual game, more of an Arcade. Though putting it on one of the PWs would causde alot of trouble.
Ayhow. My idea is presented. Creat a 2D world, with pixilated graphics and such. And Then rule the world.
Any thoughts?

I can script a 2 D Environment. It has been done before me. And it is one of the simplest scripts. I can do it, I just don'tr want to, because I know that it'll be denied by PW Team, Though maybe...

Depends. Graal is already a 2D environment, what exactly do you mean?

What exactly do you mean by pixeled? I had an idea a long time back about making a game like Links awakening for nintendo where in towns and caves and stuff everything is side view and you jump etc.. While the overworld is flat but you cant fight on it at all but if you did get jumped by monsters it would go to a new level where you had to fight them in the side view etc.. Then after you beat them you could go on your way. I just never had the urge to actually take the time and build it.

Zelda II was the worst game I've ever played.
Something like the original TMNT would be kewl (you can fight like graal on the over world, and on the sidescroll mode, there's more of the action)

But yeah, I can say it's a good idea, but I can also safely say, i wouldn't play it, because it would be boring as crap.

You just assume it would be boring as crap considering you have no idea what kind of npc's etc.. would be on it. Yes if it was like ZeldaII it would be boring as crap. But its graal people can design there own ideas and npc's etc... so it wouldnt be a clone just have a similar basis for starting. -_- If I wasnt so busy/lazy I might actually try to do it my self.

Have you ever played Mario on NES or SNES or something? That's what I meant by 2-D.

It wasjustt an idea. I think good one, but might not get many people on it as server.

I agree, i don't belive it would get much easier
mainly because the pking would suck, because everyone would run into eachother, and not much room to hide, nor will talking and hanging around be a piece of cake, because everyone would be sitting next to eachother and with all the words, no one will see anything.

Two server's already have the gravity rooms, that im aware of, G2K1 has a quest in the snow spot, and if you don't have P2P, DD has one in haven where you can just play around with it.

Wasn't there a quest on classic that was a side-scroller where you were on a train, and then you ended it like a mario type thing? I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work as a whole pw...
