Everything offends everybody nowadays, say someone made a guild called 'Hot Dog', someone would certainly come to these forums and rant on about the poor hot dogs and we shouldn't offend the meat product.

As for Genesis, the Universe I think is a design, like a human egg is a blueprint for a human. But if there is a design, who is the designer? I don't believe in any particular all powerful being myself, I think that is just stupid...

As for the title 'Unconsttutuinal Graal Guild' not everyone is American, so really, some people don't care.

Please correct me if I've made any mistakes, Language or Topic-wise.

Well, if they were going to be spreading God's word than they would have picked a name like Christians or the once populated guild Jesus Freaks.

My best guess is God is just a bunch of kids who think they are hot shot pkers and feel like making a divine spectacle of themselves.

When I said "god" I was refferring to "God" And Yes, I am a devout Catholic, I beleive in God, so technically, I am not the ******* in the one, no whoops.

Bleh, "god" is just a word, and probably capitalized because most guilds capitalize their guild name. "Gods" would have been more appropriate, but bleh.

If anything, believers of the Bible should be offended by this, as puny mortals are taking the name of "God" and acting as false lights. Or something. Hell if I know, I don't read the Bible.

i would like to start by saying that im atheist, but i know more then most about religion. God (yes, EVEN with the caps) refers to ANY god, so if it offends you, think its somebody elses god

My only thing is if they allow God as a guild they should allow Satan as a guild. It's a double standard its ok to have what people consider the good side of religion. But its not ok to have the bad side. Even though its all part of the same thing.

But you are under the closed minded view that religious people believe in "God" as a monotheism.

You cant have a guild called satan. So you shouldnt be allowed to have a guild called god.

That is a very logical statment. If they have one they should allow the other not pick and choose which one is ok.

I think they should allow satan but for the sake of logial arguement....
Once again you are looking at it from a christian box.
Satan is the NAME of the christians king of the underworld and God is the NAME of the creator

But if you step outside that box god has other defitions, polytheists have many gods with different names
They dont have "satans"

So from that standpoint god should be allowed and satan not still

It is just as offensive to a polytheist to deny the guild "God" as it would to a christian to allow it.

And yes it should be capitilized because guilds are Proper Nouns

I'm not thinking in any little retard box. Regardless if it may be multiple religions. It is still the name of a supreme being. So what if some religions dont have a satan. That still makes it ok not to have it for that specific religion. They are denying that specific religion saying no Satans. But it is still ok to use the opposite God. It doesnt matter if there are many different versions. It still would tie into that religion as well. If they allow one they should allow the other. It should be any religious term or no religious terms at all.

God no matter what context its used is related to a deity. deity is part of religion. It doesnt matter how the hell you use it or if its a common noun think about what the hell you're saying. Look it up in the dictionary. It deals with religion making it a religious term.

Do you even know what the hell a despot is? It doesnt matter if it has 1 other term what it "might" mean the fact is almost every single one of those relate to religous terms. They dont allow one religous term they shouldnt allow an other. Stop whining about technicalities. Unless you're trying to tell me the guild is called a handsom man. In which case your full of ****.
