EditNPCs, PutNPC

Did you know that using the putnpc command in an EditNPC writes the NPC to the level? The only thing is, there is no command to update the level to check for new NPCs... is there? I'm asking this because I'm writing a script to automate the replacement of tree tiles with tree graphics.

If there was you would use the updateboard comamnd possibly and then have a variable saved before hand containing the npcscount and then check it after you update.

Putnpc is temprorary, they delete after your reload the level.

Not in the editor they don't. Just try putting a putnpc command in an editnpc. Try it. Tryyyy ittttt!!! ...ow.

Yes it does work, Never really experimented with EditNPCs before. Well all you have to to is run the level anyhow. then you press f4 and they are there. simple eh?
